The bathroom sink fixture was a simple installation. It works flawlessly and looks nice. Kohler is a good go-to for plumbing fixtures. I also remember driving through Kohler Wisconsin on a business trip years ago, and it is a nice spot! I am sure that happy employees make quality products!

Like others reviewing this item, the spout on our dispenser broke at the joint just after a year. This was the first time that I became aware of the cheap plastic construction. I decided not to order a replacement part as I can foresee a continuous
cycle of broken parts and replacements for as long
as we have the fixture. It’s really too bad, as we’re quite happy with the rest of the fixture. It’s hard to believe that Kohler would include such a poorly designed part with an otherwise great kitchen faucet – makes me wonder about their other products…

The dispenser sent to me is not assembled correctly. The spigot is not turned properly to the base part. This results in the soap being dispensed from the side of the spigot, not the bottom. I kept the dispenser anyways because I had thoroughly torn up the packaging.

working fine but only had a few months. Last dispenser lasted 15 year before pump need replacing but Kohler no longer made pump for my model. big disappointment so had to replace entire unit. Another review I read stated nozzle broke off within a short time!!! If my new purchase last 15 years with replaceable pump would recommend.

This is the second one I’ve purchase. We used it for about a month and the plastic fitting which connects the soap bottle to the pump broke. Here I go again.

This soap dispenser was originally installed eleven years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. It is used many times a day for dish and hand washing. It held up wonderfully for the amount of use. This product was an exact replacement for the eleven year old one. Hopefully it will last as long!

My soap dispenser is 4 years old and has broken. We have only adults in the house and not sure why this product would break. It’s unfortunate this happened and am wondering if there is anything Kohler can do.

I bought this dispense to replace my malfunctioning dispenser. It appears that Kohler has improved the design…it seems to be more solid than previous one.

The plumbers installed the sink faucet and the soap dispenser. As they were cutting open the package for the dispenser, the knife slipped and cut the top of the gold pump. Whatever kind of finish Kohler uses for this dispenser….is working!!! Yes, there is a huge cut on the top of my pump….BUT the gold finish goes deeper than the surface and there is not any other metal color showing. I could be depressed about the accident – but honestly, I am more impressed at the beautiful craftsmanship.

I purchased the traditional design K1893C-VS soap dispenser 2 years ago and the soap stem corroded and just fell off into the kitchen sink. We do not have hard water and our Kohler stainless sink and faucets have been fine. The stem of this dispenser is constructed from an inexpensive alloy that obviously has a short life span. Kohler should honor a warranty longer than one year on a product that has had many customer complaints with the same stem problem.

We purchased this dispenser two years ago, and it’s no longer functioning after only light usage. This appears to be due to the dispenser head being clogged with congealed soap. Based on the design, it seems inevitable this would happen. We’re disappointed in this Kohler product.

Very disappointed at the misleading warranty,
Cast iron and faucets have lifetime warranty .
They will not cover the dispenser.
Heavy cast iron construction, poor quality.
Tip rotted out.
Warranty misleading.
Moem, American and other brands do offer lifetime wareanty

Spout broke right at one year. I see it happened to another reviewer as well. That makes 2 so far. Sounds like a manufacturing defect for sure! They should absolutely extend the warranty on this item, it’s a bad look for Kohler.

I had my kohler soap dispenser installed year and a half ago and the spout fell/broke off and it isn’t because it’s over used or because I’m rough with it, its just me here. I love and have always purchased kohler products but Not happy with this one and having to replace it so soon
