My contractor had no problems picking up this item!

I had this installed a week from now. A WEEK! i’ve washed dishes a number of times, maybe 5-6 due to not having a stove yet i don’t have much to wash. and this morning i noticed rusting stains. i am so disappointed. listen to other reviews that say this and don’t make the same mistake i did. now i’m stuck with this. i can’t imagine what it’s gonna look like in a month. DONT RECOMMEND!

I had to replace a sink that had rusted and was about 20 years old. This sink was the perfect replacement. It has a nice luster to it but not too shiny like it’s trying to be something it’s not. This is as good as a sink can get without any of that extra glitz that you’d pay for more expensive sinks. I’m please with the product and my filthy dishes look like they belong in this sink.

Reasonable value for the money, but the front edge was bowed upwards about 5/16″. Even after clamping it flat to the countertop before securing with the supplied mounting clips, plus giving the silicone sealant applied under the rim 38 hours to cure – the sink still pulled away from the counter top by 1/8″ in the front center. I had to fabricate additional strapping to pull the rim down and secure it to the cabinet frame.

I’ll admit I knew nothing about assessing stainless steel quality when I bought this sink, if I had I’d have chosen better. Any touch of water whatsoever stains this sink if not dried immediately, and I do mean immediately. Leaving anything in the sink also stains it. I’ve just had to accept the sink will look like crap most of the time. That being said, it does its job for a cheap price if you can ignore the aesthetics. A solution of half vinegar half water with some dish soap removes all stains temporarily (until the sink gets wet again), but if used often it would destroy the finish so this trick is only useful when having company to impress.

It took my husband 8 hours to remove our old sink and install this one with new piping and we are very disappointed with the quality. Looked great in Lowe’s but less than a day later we completely regretted purchasing it. The rounded corners and slope make it very difficult to keep items like glasses upright in the sink without falling over.
More importantly though, is the very low-quality steel. The divider in the middle is not made of strong steel, and the metal in that area and by the faucet can be pushed down and bounces back up- it is not sturdy at all and feels very unstable. Due to the thin steel in the area, the faucet is not completely secure, and the base of the faucet moves around way too easily without a strong steel sink to attach to. I washed one stainless steel pan and there are already scratches in the sink, as well as discoloring and stains that showed up only a few days after install.
Overall, a complete waste of time and money. I wish I had not installed it and gone with another option.

I HATE THIS SINK! I have NEVER hated a sink as much as I HATE this sink. This is the UGLIEST sink I have ever seen in my 50+ years. One of the photos attached is a copy of the receipt to verify my purchase of the sink. I waited a couple of weeks to write a review as I had the sink installed and then I immediately realized how SUBPAR the quality of this sink is, so I came back and read the reviews.
Then I went about following all of the instructions the manufacturer provided. Now according to the replies the manufacturer posted, a simple change in how I clean the sink would make this sink shine like a beautiful brand-new car. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.
There is no hope for this UGLY, INFERIOR QUALITY SINK. Now the manufacturer says to call a 800# or send an email. WHY? Unless someone tells me they are going to refund my money (sink and installation) – why should I bother.
Do you see how DISGUSTING THIS SINK LOOKS? I’ve seen ghetto apartments in television shows that look better!
If there are this many people reporting a problem, well, there MUST BE A PROBLEM WITH THE SINK!!

We bought this as an additional sink in the laundry room. The install was really pretty easy. It appeared that a couple of the sides were bowed up a little bit but once they were secured to the counter top they ended up flush. Now we have a sink in the laundry room and it really helps a lot when needed to fill cleaning buckets or other little tasks. Keeping it clean is relatively easy as well. I would recommend it as a good utility sink.

Clearly this is a very Economic Sink, (Get What You Pay For), Just looking at product, is a nice looking purchase, When installed you realize that the 20Gage material is not worth the savings, I wished I had paid more for a better product. To be stainless, it’s not stainless, have to dry out after use, who wants to do that kind of maintenance. Material so thin, when tightening the new drain baskets, you could only snug or would be like the threads were stripped on baskets they were new, material of sink was giving. I used a new big faucet, the sink bends, while working the faucet, as stated in reviews, stuck with the purchase, I would think twice before buying this sink, spend a little more and get a thicker gage metal. The sink will work, for a rental maybe, but for your personal use I don’t recommend. Will say the sink was easy to put in counterhole and clip in.

I purchased this to replace the ugly white sink I had. I made my choice based on price range and reviews. I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t a fully drop in. There is a rail that uses a screw and clip to grab from under the counter. I had to bend back the rail as it’s machine welded and removing it would be difficult without damaging it. The other bad part was that the rail stuck out almost to the edge of the sink so I had to cut the counter out some more. Like some others have said, the sink does stain if water is left standing also there is already a rust mark but cleaned up some after scrubbing it. Overall I got what I paid for.

Nice sink, easy to install. It did Not come with the hardware for installation. Had to buy the sink bolts separately. Sink is a lighter weight stainless that I thought The sample in the store was mounted over eight feet high in the store so I wasn’t able to see it up close before installation. The last thing about the sink I’m not crazy about is it seems to stain easily with coffee stains etc. it was however a very good price compared to other brands.

Purchased this morning at Lowe’s. Went through entire stack of new sinks and finally found one with the least scratches and no dents. Check carefully. If you are not looking for an absolutely perfect one, this is the place to go. The price is reasonable, but the item may not be the best quality and condition.

Why is it that every time I have to install one of these or the like, that I need to go buy clips with longer screws? Does anyone in the United States have 3/4″ or thinner countertop? NO. This is a simple fix, include longer screws with your sinks. Countertop, at least on the west coast, is 2 to 3cm thick, or on average 1 3’8″. Why can’t you fix this, is doesn’t make any sense!

I bought this sink that replaced my original sink. The sink good and was easy to install

I had to pick thru 5 to 6 sinks to find one that was not damaged.

We had to replace our old sink and found this one would fit. Installation was a bit of a pain as you had to slide clips through a channel along the bottom perimeter. Our counter is such where the front of the sink is only held by the corner of the clips. The drain hole spacing was slightly different than our old sink. Thankfully, it was such where I had to shorten the pipes and not lengthen them. After install, I found that the drains have a small lip around the drain basket, making it so just a little bit of water often remains in the sink. Does it work? Yes. It is what you pay for though.

The thickness is less than expected. Note that if you install a goose neck type faucet on this sink it will require an isolation plate to be installed below the sink in order to add strength to compensate for the thin metal of the sink. does not stock the item (RP37490) in the store. It will have to be ordered from their website and takes over a week for delivery. Just saying. This is a 4 hole sink that I used with a goose neck type single handle widespread faucet with a soap dispenser and side sprayer.

The sink was not in a box as it should have been. Therefore I didn’t have anything to hold the sink in place. I had to find replacement parts to match the sink to fit in place.

Good price but the edge of the sink that the faucet is mounted on is a bit weak and lets the faucet flex the edge.

I was looking for a cheap sink, so I ordered this cheap sink. What I received was a cheap sink. Upon inspection, it was confirmed to be a cheap sink (which is what I ordered). If you want an expensive sink, don’t order this one… it is cheap. However, if you desire a cheap sink (as did I), you should order this because it is cheap, and it is also a sink.

I wish I could zero stars because I would. This was a big, big mistake. When I bought it I thought: This looks like a nice sink, it has the depth I want now, and the price seems fair. As soon as it was installed I was sorry I ever walked into store. This looks like a sink you would find in a very cheap rental apartment. Now we do not live in a high-end home. However, we take pride on caring for our home as it was a display more and there were some upgrades built into it. But just look at the photos. There are stains that will not come out, no matter how much baking soda or vinegar we try to use. It is ugly and worse yet, it is embarrassing. I am terrified of anyone seeing this sink. Anyone who sees it is going to wonder if I have fallen on hard times or I bought this from a second-hand store. And since it is installed, what recourse do I have? None. So learn from my experience: RUN AWAY.

The installation of this new elkay kitchen sink has been a nightmare! I purchased this because I was replacing an old sink in my house. This one looked great and had an awesome price. Little did I know that it would take an entire day to try to fit this into my current spot for my old sink. Right out of the box the sink already had two scratches. this new sink comes with bars to tighten with screws to better attach it to the countertop. Unfortunately, these bars were too wide for my existing kitchen sink hole. So after hours of sanding and jigsawing the current hole I was able to place this sink where it should be. Alas, the sink is bowed. It does not sit flush at all. I tried bending the bars, more sanding in jigsawing, and anything else I could try to do to get this to sit flat. None of them worked. I will be returning this ASAP and buying a different sink from another hardware store.
