I was a tiny bit skeptical about purchasing this sink based on some reviews, but I went ahead anyway. I bought this today, and dont regret it yet. It was an easy install. I was replacing an older, similar looking sink. It fit perfectly, and looks great! I’m pleasantly surprised with how nice it looks. I hooked up the new garbage disposal, and it is quiet, with no vibrations. I had my own faucet, so i did not use the included one. All in all, I’m happy with this purchase. I’ll update my review after a year.

I ordered this product to upgrade one of two existing kitchen sinks. But, when I received this Dayton stainless steel kitchen sink kit I was disappointed. I evaluated its possibilities and decided not to install it. If I had installed it, it would have been a downgrade instead of an upgrade. It was made of thinner metal (22 gauge) and only had sound deadening on part of the bottom (not the entire sink or even part of the sides and bottom). Also, the included faucet and sprayer were a 4-hole design. But, we are used to a 1-hole design with no sprayer (we don’t use this kind of sprayer).

This sink is bottom-of-the-line, small bowls (big curved corners; dish drainers won’t fit), rough finish, shows water spots, almost NO flat sink bottom, glassware tips over, and the Chinese drain baskets drop closed too easily. The faucet makes noise (clunks on opening). If you can spend a bit more, it will unquestionably be worth it. I may remove and return this for a better quality, despite the cost of a plumbers labor. This is Elkay, but the sink was taken off the production line after the minimum steps to shape and finish it; the sink box says the drain and faucet are made in China, the faucet box inside says made in Vietnam. Don’t buy this product, it is NOT worth even the low price.

Like the other review said, the sink I purchased was scratched and looked like it had already been used. The clips were bent and there were greasy thumbprints all over it. I went to another retailer to purchase a different sink with the intent of returning this one. After my dad had put a new faucet in and dropped it in the counter, we realized that the corners were a bit too rounded and u could see underneath the sink. So we took that out and my dad cleaned the Elkay sink up as best he could and we used it. I was kinda in a bind and to get yet another sink would’ve been an all afternoon thing bc the next nearest retailer is like an hour away. I haven’t had a new sink in like 15 years, so I didn’t really pay attention, but I can’t even fit a casserole dish in this sink to wash it. My old sink was only 7” deep and this one is 8” deep so I thought I’d have extra room. No. The top of each side measures 14” but the bottom is only 10”! I do not have a dishwasher so this is the only way I have to wash dishes. NOTHING fits in this sink. After one meal it looks like I haven’t done dishes in a week because the curved bottom like pushes everything up. It’s so frustrating! Plus if u don’t wipe it down after each use the water stains it. Try having teenage boys wipe down a kitchen sink every time they use it. I’m gonna try Barkeepers friend on it but seriously, I’ve never been more irritated with a sink lol so take a tape measure with u when shopping for a sink so u can measure the bottom and save yourself some frustration!

needed a sink for my new counter top, this was the only one in stock. it is not square on the bottom as most stainless sinks, it has a bowl shape to it and you cannot get a sink dish drainer to fit. the only one is made by the Elkay company for $96.00 which is in sane. also water does not completely drain out of the bottom and it gathers and stains, this is 3 months old. I saved for years for this kitchen remodel and am very disappointed. I wrote to the company and told my concerns and the letter was never addressed.

My sink was very old and dated so I replaced it with this Freeport Drop-in 33″ x 22″ Stainless Steel Double Sink. Installation was easy and I completed the removal of the old and installing the new in roughly 2 1/2 hours. The sink came with a very nice chrome Elkay faucet and hand sprayer and very good instructions for the faucet as well as directions for the sink installation. (grats on the great instructions provided by the way, it was very appreciated) Time to upgrade that sink? This is a very good one to spend your hard earned dollars on I promise you. Cheers

The only good thing about this thing was surprised and it came as a kid. I use my original faucet. The bowls are small because of the deep curves. The Finish is very rough and shows water spots that are hard to wipe away. In this picture that is shown I wash dishes a hour ago and the spots have not dried yet. I thought I would be enjoying washing dishes in my new sink but that’s not the case. Only if I had seen the sink before the plumber installed it. I would have made a return. Keep in mind this sink was installed Monday and it looks like I had it for years.

It’s true you get what you pay for but COME ON a new “stainless steel” sink that began to water spot and rust immediately??!! I tried to clean it with everything possible but spots and rust are permanent. Also stick with flat bottom sinks as these types are very awkward at the bottom. Nothing fits or stands up. Extremely disappointed in this purchase wish I hadn’t tossed out my 30 year old 6″ flat bottom stainless sink!

The thin/narrow strainer lock nuts that come with this kit are a complete joke. You can almost push them on by hand. Try tightening them the least bit and the threads give way. Ones that’s done, game over…. you’ll never seat the strainer in the sink bottom. That’s the garbage you buy in box stores these days.

This product was good overall. I liked the style as it has deep dish style sink beds so you can really soak your dishes in a high level of water without overflow. I also liked that the side rise on the sink so that even if water comes up and out the side as you wash dishes it’s controlled and stay around the sink ledge to keep water from freely running into your counter tops. The other thing that was really nice was the shiney water faucet and the sprayer. Really looked like good quality pieces that will be able to hold up over time. The other great feature about this sink was the double sink drainers stoppers in many cases you get a sink with one drain stopper so you can catch the food on both sides when you go to drain the dish water but in this case I can drain and catch unwanted food matter of both sides of the sink with is really convenient and it can add to the life expectancy of my disposal. What I did notice and something that I didn’t like was a few scratches around the edges some of which are embedded and just takes away from the overall high end look once it’s in. So with that I had to rate it a 4 star as it takes away from the overall appeal. This will be going in my newly remodeled kitchen and I’ll have to seal it to maintain the life expectancy since it’s scuffed around the edges pretty good.But the plus side of things was it came with easy to install instructions nice extra accessories which I wasn’t expecting. Overall I can’t complain and it meets the expectations of a quality upgrade piece to add to the kitchen area.

Got this new sink to go with a new touch faucet and make a complete project of the sink. This sink is stainless steel with a pretty deep bowl on both sides and it padded on the backside to help with sound and gives it a more solid feel. This was an easy 1 hour project to remove the old sink and install this new sink with faucet. It came with a new faucet and sprayer as well but we purchased a new touch faucet separately! Very solid install with a little silicon around the sink opening and 12 sink clamps. We were able to use all the existing plumbing with no issue!! Worked out perfectly and looks great! Highly recommended for the price and quality!

This drop in sink is only 7 inches deep. My sink it replaced was 9 inches deep. Because of this I had to extend the plumbing which was unexpected. The sink is 22 guage stainless steel. It is light weight and I don’t think it is going to hold up to everyday use. The included faucet is basic and I doubt it’s quality too. I do like the sprayer. Installation instructions were clear. Only purchase this sink if price is more important than quality.

I always try to leave a review on whatever I purchase. Reviews are a factor for me in making a decision on whether I buy a product or not so I hope my reviews helps someone on making their decision. Some people doesn’t always leave a honest review unfortunately so my reviews are honest reviews whether bad or good. I needed a new kitchen sink and chose to get The Elkay Dayton Double Bowl Kitchen 22 Gage All In One Stainless Steel Sink after I installed it and used it I do not recommend it for your everyday kitchen sink. It water spots really bad and you must dry it every time you use the water. It also shows fingerprints. I did clean it very well to see if that would help and when I used water again it left spots again. The faucet that comes with it is not tall and not heavy duty, it looks more like one you would use in a bathroom. The stainless steel is sturdy. All the hardware comes with it you just need your pvc pipes, drain lines and plumbers putty. It was a easy install. I would highly suggest you wear gloves picking it up because the stainless steel is very sharp. It’s not a terrible sink I just would not use it in a everyday kitchen because you will be wiping water spots and fingerprints a lot.

I Installed this sink a couple days before I had surgery for my 95 year old grandmother and the faucet handle broke off in less then 5 weeks. I am very disappointed and will never buy any of your products again!
