These pans worked amazing for about 7 days. They went from “non-stick” to “non-slip” in no time at all. They became impossible to clean and impossible to cook with even when using larger quantities of oil to make up for the now sticky surface. NO amount of scrubbing, soaking, or anything in between could remove these stains.
When asked for a refund, we were (rudely) told that the warranty was void because we misused the pans. Apparently we cooked things on too high of a temperature. I didn’t realize they were watching us when we cooked! Funny thing is, we followed the instructions in regards to not maxing out the temp because the instructions were specific about that.
Other, less infuriating issues were the lack of compatibility from lid to lid. Why make the large pot and the steaming pan different size lids by like a 1/4 of an inch? So they can sell it as a 16 piece set! The handles became loose after a few uses too. Surely that wasnt a result of cooking things on too high, was it? We never went near these things with metal, and yet, using the bamboo utensils provided, there were knicks in it after only a few uses.
Don’t waste your money on these pans. The lowest quality pans you can get, and if they aren’t satisfactory, then guess what? You have to live with it because they don’t care! From now until forever, I will actively spread the word to friends and family to avoid this piece of garbage product at all costs.

Love my pots wish I had the option of adding a 6 and 8 quart in this color

So far I absolutely love this pan! Have had it for about a month now. I have a lot of stainless steal cookware but this is so nice to whip out for eggs or something low heat that also is non stick porcelain coating! So easy to use and wash too! When they say non stick they mean it! So so nice!

Love the Rio 2qt Saucepan with Lid. It is the perfect size, has the beautiful ceramic non-stick coating, and perfect fitting lid that I was looking for.

My husband purchased this item for me and after two uses everything I cooked, was sticking to the pan. As per the Care and Instructions medium heat should be used for long last. However, mines was used exactly how it was instructed and the pan turned like this. As per the company this has no warranty because high heat causes this. You will be wasting your money so do not buy!

With 2nd use the paint at the bottom of pan came off & pan inside got scratched

The white ceramic chipped on the edges and bottom of the pan has scratches after only a few weeks of use. I used a silicone spatula and only used it to cook eggs. Eggs did not stick but it did not last long. It was hand washed and it is scratched already. Very disappointed. I’m tossing this and going back to finding a new different pan.

I love this pan! Not only it looks pretty but it does what it says does not stick to the pot. I love the shiny look inside the pot as well. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this set of pans to add on to my older set because I needed another large kettle. I was surprised that I received a steamer insert with this set! Ive had my original set for about 2 years, and I love them. They ate just as pretty as they ever were and the food still slides right out!

Purchase my first green pan just to try them. Now, ready to buy the whole set. You won’t be dissaponted. Food cooks well. Easy to clean. Bought the grren pan wok now. I will get the rest of the green pan set. My husband and I are loving it.

I bought these a few months ago. We loved them at first but now the pans are absolutely awful and everything sticks. We have followed the care instructions to a T but it doesn’t make a difference. This picture is after cleaning the pan multiple times. We ended up throwing it out because it was beyond saving, which is a shame after just a few months.

I love these pans, however… the rubber handle melts if your burner is too high. We ran into this last night and it put out a horrible smell which can’t be toxic free. My entire house smelt the rest of the evening. The pans claim they work on all stovetops, but not sure if I believe that. Not sure what to do, they are new and it was my first time using the smaller skillet.

While these pans do not stick, the handle does burn emitting horrible toxic fumes. I read previous reviews stating this, so I was extra precautions. I am extremely disappointed in the response from customer service. They treated me as if I was stupid and to blame for their design flaw. Clearly, the metal piece extending from the pan to the handle is not long enough to prevent the handle from melting. A frying pan should be designed to handle high heat. Or perhaps you need to sell them as low-flame-only pans, which you do not. I will not purchase from you again.

Amazing nonstick surface. We were doing all our cooking with cast-iron but making eggs and sautéing garlic was a mess with teenage boys sometimes making eggs or beef, we’ve had a messy cast-iron pan on the stove. This cleans up incredibly well and easily and does a fantastic job making eggs even my mom commented, be careful if you do try to swirl anything in this pan, it might fly out! And it is really really nice to have some thing this nonstick that doesn’t have PFA

I was gifted this set and was excited about them- they have worked well for cooking. However, I was confused and turned off by the smell that kept coming from them, filling my kitchen, and lingering for hours after use. I finally realized that if the handle gets within a few inches of the flame on my gas stove, it melts and the smell is toxic fumes filling my house. After I realized what was happening I thought maybe I was being careless about the handle near the flame and so tried on again last night and was exceptionally careful to keep the handle as far from the flam as possible, but still I got the burning smell. I contacted Green Pan and they blamed flare ups from my stove, which do not happen, or said I’m using a small pan on a large burner, also not happening. They called the melting ‘discoloration’ and said there could be a ‘slight odor’. The odor is very strong and I have a toddler in the house, so I’m very concerned about the fumes, and it is clearly fully melt damage, not just discoloration. This is clearly a major design flaw, as I can see from others here who have had this issue and I find it reprehensible that Green Pan continues to manufacture something that they know is dangerous.

My family loves to cook. So an everyday pan is a must. We especially love nonstick pans, but hate all the chemicals that some pans have in them. I’ve seen this GreenPan in stores before and have always wanted to see how well it would work.
On the products packaging, before I first used the pan, I was able to clearly read the instructions. The quick tips made it easy to understand how to take care of the pan. These suggestions will definitely help me prolong the life of this pan.
The first thing that I really love about this 12 inch pan is, is that the company makes it without PFAS, PFOA, Lead, or Cadmium. This makes me feel a whole lot better about cooking for my family, knowing that these chemicals aren’t going to leach into my food. I also really find the diamond-enhanced nonstick ceramic coating to work great. We’ve used this pan many times for eggs, and not once have we had them stick. With only a little bit of butter and medium to low heat, they cook up perfectly. Clean up is super quick, and the pan comes clean easily, with hardly any scrubbing.
The design of this pan is nice. I really like the color, the white ceramic coating and light blue outer color is very eye catching. Also the handle shape and material is great. It is easy to hold and hasn’t ever been to hot to grasp and it feels like the handle is held onto the pan very tightly.
We use a gas stove to cook on. The bottom of the pan is stamped with what cooktops are ok to use this fry pan with. It’s been around a month using this pan. I really like it and would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a great nonstick pan.

I bought the 12″ Rio Frypan last week at my grocery store after seeing “TOXIN FREE”, “FREE OF PFAS, PFOA, LEAD AND CADMIUM”. It did not register with me at the time that no mention is made of it being free of PTFE (Teflon). Additionally when I came to this website I notice there is no mention of it being free of PTFE on the website, either.
I need to hear from the GreenPan. Company why there is no mention of these pans being PTFE (Teflon) FREE on the information that comes with the pan or on the website. The pan information says “The Original Greenpan”. Is this the first pan the GreenPan company made when PTFEs (Teflon) might have been considered to be safe? Anyway, won’t be using until I hear from the company about the PTFE / Teflon issue, and can’t give it a better rating than 1 at this point, and the 1 is for this pan’s beautiful aqua color.

This cookware more than delivers on non-stick cooking, even heat, visual appeal, and practicality. My favorite feature by far is the way the handles are attached. Rather than bolts inside the pan, these handles are securely affixed to the outside of the pans, make the cooking more even and removing the impossible-to-keep-clean, unsightly bolts. I also love the color, the usability of each piece, and the lids with their easy-to-grasp handles that are friendly for older hands.

The Greenpan Rio Frypan is a non-stick wonder that’s my new go-to choice for making eggs of any variety. First of all, the 12-inch frying pan is LARGE and it has high sides, so you can really use it for a lot of things in the kitchen. From eggs (the obvious choice) to fried pork chops, there’s a lot you can do with this one pan and the size is perfect cooking family meals. Where the pan really shines is in the non-stick surface. Eggs fly right out of that bad boy if you’re not careful! Nothing sticks and nothing burns — it makes cooking breakfast a lot easier. The pan has a nice weight and the teal color is a nice addition to my kitchen. My only “quip” is that the package said it’s dishwasher safe on one side, but recommended handwashing on the other.. I’m not really sure what to make of that, so I’ve been hand washing it just in case. I generally hate hand washing anything, so that wasn’t the best surprise. Overall though i’m very happy with this Rio Frypan. 5 Stars!
