Cast iron is superior when you need even heating, which I needed for a chicken recipe that starts on the cooktop and then moves to the oven. This heavy pan with an excellent stick-free enamel coating is exactly what I needed. Excellent quality and perfect size!!

I ordered this as a replacement for a Martha Stewart lasagna dish that had gotten a crack on the bottom. The first Cuisinart pan I received had chip in the enamel. I promptly returned it and was sent a replacement which was in perfect shape. My wife has used this several times for making lasagna and chicken to meatballs and it does a very nice job. Yes, it is heavy, but the results are very nice. It is a very nice looking pan and I am hoping this will last for many years to come.

I really wish i had this years ago! The best pan ever, but it’s SO HEAVY! I LOVE everything about this pan. Lasagna is perfect and I’m able to use the full box of noodles! Incredible as a roasting/casserole pan too! Definitely in for many, many years of use as it is very well built. One of my kids wants this pan someday in the future! I highly recommend this pan unless you are unable to lift heavy objects.

This would appear in every way to be a top quality pan. It is cast iron, so don’t be surprised by it’s weight. The quality /appearance of mine is flawless. It is the perfect addition.I only wish it had a glass lid or C sold one.

Love this thing. I mean it’s super heavy but it’s the kind of thing that will last you a lifetime. Clean up is so easy too no matter how baked in the food gets. Just soak it for a little bit and it wipes right off with a regular sponge. Oh and did I mention that you can even put this right on the stovetop too in addition to broiling. It does it all!

Heavy duty, yet a gorgeous red color. It weighs a lot, but is a true performer. You can feed an army with this baking dish — perfect for a huge lasagna, or thanksgiving stuffing. You can also roast a large chicken or small turkey in it. GREAT piece of cookware.

I use it to bake cakes and serve directly from oven to the table. Very attractive looking on presentation. Just love it! (As a side bonus, you can work out with it or use it to thwack an assailant.) 🙂

This is a beautiful pan. The size is as described and the color is great. Unfortunately, once filled with my chicken recipe it was too heavy for me. I have arthritis. Reluctantly, I had to return it.

One of my favorite pans in the kitchen belonged to my grandmother. It is 50+ year old Dutch oven that is constructed of the same material and process as this lasagna pan. I know that, despite constant use, I’ll be able to pass it down to my grandchildren.
The right tool makes all the difference, and for lasagna, this one IS the right tool. For the first time, I was able to use all of the meat sauce, the entire box of lasagna noodles and still had room for extra cheese! I like to cook my noodles before layering in the pan. With this industrial quality pan, I had no fear of shattering – like even tempered glass sometimes does – by filling with boiling water. Be advised, however, for it is heavy. Heavy is good, but not for feeble hands. Consider this one heirloom quality, for I know it will last generations.

Only used once so far, but great. Nice quality, great price, excellent depth for lasagna. I had originally ordered a different one from a store that wasn’t Cuisinart, glad I found this one instead. So much higher quality!
