This is the worst sink ever. It does not drain easily so any scraps of food remain sitting in the sink. It scratches easily. I would not recommend it to anyone.

33″ Drop-In and matching faucet are Quality products BUT will leave puddle of water when turning off water unless from the “HOT” position. Design improvent needed.

We just installed Quartz Countertops in our kitchen, and replaced a 2 bowl, standard, shallow stainless steel sink with our new KRAUS Single Bowl 32” Undermount Stainless Steel Sink. We couldn’t be more pleased. It’s beautiful. It’s spacious. It drains well. We love the stainless steel grid. The 16 gauge stainless and soundproofing is excellent-so much more quiet that our previous sink. The look and quality of the drain and strainer, which also received many other approving comments in the reviews, is so nice we decided to use that instead of our garbage disposal, and that has worked out very well so far. Garbage disposal aren’t good for your pipes anyway, and frankly the strainer works perfectly fine. My only caution is to make sure you do not use any abrasive sponges on the sink. We have both abrasive and non-abrasive, and I mistakenly started using the wrong one. Thankfully just a few minor scratches in and area difficult to see, and I caught myself. Follow the instructions that come with the sink-use a soft cloth or sponge-and all will be fine. Thank you Kraus for an amazing and beautiful sink.

This sink has lived up to my expectations in every way. It is a great size for my kitchen, quiet and easy to clean. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I think the included grid could be easier to clean. I think it should be made in 2 pieces so that it could go into the dishwasher. I may modify mine!

Sink was installed two months ago and has terrible water spots and other unattractive marks that polish / cleaners will not remove.

We’ve had this sink almost a year and it’s terrific. We were concerned given some of the reviews, but have seen no issues on our sink. You do need to make sure you use the grids at the bottom, and we do clean it weekly, but it’s as beautiful as the day we got it. We like the offset look, it’s dramatic, plus the larger side fits all our big pots and pans easily.

This sink is hands down the most superior in quality I have ever seen, installed or had the pleasure to use. I have been in the luxury and fine home-building industry for almost two decades and this sink is one of the best I have ever had the pleaseure to install. And, lucky me, I get to actually use this one on a daily basis in my own home! I have always been a stickler for a deep sink. But usually having a deep sink means that you get noise that could easily rival that of Niagara Falls when the faucet is running. Kraus knows that and solved that problem with their under-sink dampening system. THAT feature alone has me sold! The accessories Kraus included don’t hurt either. But on to the most important “perk” that Kraus included….. The drain kit! Be still my beating heart… Why is this so important you ask? Keeping in mind that a large percentage of consumer end kitchen sinks do NOT come with a drain kit. This leaves the installer, contractor or even the occasional DIY’er with only a few options… Option 1: they call up the manufacturer of the sink they purchased, without a drain kit, and order one directly from them. Meanwhile, you wait for the manufactured to pack it up and ship it. Option 2: make a trip to a local home improvement store in the hopes you can find one that is going to match the specs of the sink you purchased, again without a drain kit. Option 3: in the case of replacing a preexisting sink with the new one you bought, without an included drain kit, the old drain kit is used. So, again, why is it an awesome and important feature for Kraus to include with their already amazing sink? Because 99% of the time a generic, 2nd party manufacturer or even an “authorized manufacturer” drain kit is not going to fit the drain opening exactly. “Who cares” You ask? You should care because the drain opening and the drain kit that go into should be, in my opinion, the “heart” of a sink. Especially for a one bowl/one-drain-opening sink. The quality, or lack thereof, of the seal can determine the longevity of the sink, cabinetry and everything below it. Having a perfect seal at the drain opening not only ensures that you will not have any leaks, it will also ensure that they integrity and strength of that sink is going to last beyond your lifetime. This sink and the included drain kit? PERFECTION! I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that I will never have to worry about the sink or what is below it!
My rating….
10 Stars for quality
10 Stars for value and price
10 stars for easy install

We installed this sink during our kitchen renovation. It is a fantastic upgrade to what we had before and we are very pleased with it. The sound dampening is very good and we really like the racks that go in the bottom to prevent damage to the sink and to allow water to drain. One thing to consider when buying this sink – we had to modify the front of the cabinet to accommodate the sink. It needs a full 9″ of opening height to be installed. Our standard cabinet only had 7.5″ when the false drawer fronts were removed. The face frame had to be modified and the doors had to be rebuilt with the new dimensions. This is certainly not a negative about the sink, just something to consider when buying a sink with this much depth to the bowls. Overall, a fantastic sink!

I am very dissatisfied with the 26″ undercount sink that was just installed not even a week ago. It looks fantastic, I have to say – sleek and modern. However, I think these sinks are designed for kitchens that are never actually used. Within days of the install we started to notice rust stains in the corners, and no, we had not left pots or dishes in the sink. The customer service person tried to be helpful and said these are stains from minerals in the water. Here’s the thing… it’s a sink, and last time I checked, sinks involve water!! So are you telling me that every time I used the sink I have to wipe it down so it’s dry and constantly use a gentle cleanser? While I am happy to clean the sink frequently, I also can’t live with a “glass egg” sink that I can’t run water or wash dishes in for fear of it rusting. Also, we noticed by the drain that is getting rusty (or whatever they want to call it) too. I’ve already contacted customer service now by phone and email – I’m very frustrated as I thought I was buying a high quality product.

I have had my sink for there’s months. Empty nesters who do not cook often and care for sink cleaning after use and daily with dawn and microfiber cloth. Have used the grate since day one. Noticed scratches and have no idea how they even happened. The feet on the gate also leave marks on the stainless. I have been googling this sink and scratches and am so disappointed to learn that this is common. I wish that I had paid for another brand. Awful to have invested so much in a new high mend kitchen to have this as a result after a few uses.

This sink was priced right and looks good brand new but has a few issues.
1) The stainless steel scratches very easily – much easier than past stainless sinks Ive owned.
2) To minimize scratching Kraus has a large metal grate to protect the bottom. This is one piece, large, and difficult to clean.
3) The large width (33″) and minimal slope on the bottom means food debris is difficult to move to the drain with just water and there is the large metal grate in the way making you have to remove everything from the sink to remove debris
Recommendation for Kraus: Use a higher hardness stainless steel. For the metal grates use a 2 piece design for easier cleaning. Increase the slope towards the drain to make it easier to wash the bottom of the sink.

Great sink. Quality construction. Looks fantastic. The large left bowl is LARGE. In a 2 person household, we choose to do dishes by hand – so the sink design and size are critical. The large bowl easily fits my 8.5 Quart dutch oven and my 16″ Calphalon roasting pan with plenty of room to maneuver each piece to wash and rinse. My only drawback is that because of the constraint of our plumbing under the counter, we were not able to make use of the provided drains. I had them placed and they were SO NICE … a very deep drain with an extra large and easy to remove basket, nicely covered by a flush fitting gasket plug cover. Alas … they were too deep to use with the rather odd plumbing configuration in our home.

This is my first time ever to write a review on a product. We recently renovated our kitchen and wanted to make a big impact with our new sink. I do a lot of research before buying products, and after reading about the Kraus line of sinks, thought this one would be a good choice. The description of a 16 guage T304 stainless was very convincing, since my research revealed that the lower the gauge meant more durable and higher quality. It was truly beautiful out of the box. Our was a farmhouse under the counter mount, and our installers did an outstanding job on putting it in. Much to our dismay, after about 2 uses, we noticed scratches on the base of the sink. We have had the sink in for about a month, as the scratches continue with normal use of pots, pans, etc. Water spots are almost impossible to eliminate, unless you do towel dry the sink after each use, as the instructions mention, but honestly, who towel dries your sink after each use, especially if you have kids using it all of the time? We did not use any abrasives or steel wool, and followed the instructions that came with the sink as to the proper care. The maintenance “dos and don’ts” mentioned, if there were tougher stains, to use Ajax or Comet. We never used these, but can’t imagine what it would do to the finish. We have had stainless steel sinks previously, and never experienced anything like the results we are seeing with this sink. Also, when considering a “square” sink configuration, beware that the corners are very hard to get clean. Because of the labor involved with trying to replace the sink due to the cabinet field adjustment necessary to properly seat the sink under the granite countertop, it would be prohibitive to remove and replace with another sink. This was written to maybe help a prospective purchaser, to be aware of the problems we have had.

I guess i would call myself a loyal Kraus customer by now. i bought their geo-axis faucet in my last home and when i did a kitchen renovation in my current home, i went straight to their products. i bought the same faucet but this time, i was limited on the sink size and it had to be a drop in. still, out of all the competitors products, kraus offered the nicest, most sleek looking product, nice & deep, 16 gauge, all that at a great price. everything i wanted. i did, unfortunately, have a problem with the draining of the water initially. step in, Michael R. i think he is the manager or supervisor of kraus but i call him My Customer Service Superstar. this man will stop at nothing to make sure the customer is happy. He checked the batch # for any production issues, had me check that the sink and counter was level all around, verified that my plumber installed disposal and p-trap properly. His 1st suggestion, was to use barkeepers friend and that really really helped alot. he even sent me a bottle of their liquid product to see if i would get any better results. i actually found the powder version of barkeepers friend worked the best. Now, i am comfortable with the water draining and using the sink is a joy. I am all about customer service and i can tell you that you not find another company that will give you the customer service that i have gotten from Kraus.

This is a solid piece. I work in restaurant kitchens and chose this a dish beast. As close to a commercial sink for residential purposes. My only problem is the grate/grid insert is a bit unwieldy to remove for cleaning. It also will not fit in my dishwasher. A 2 section gate/grid insert would be preferable. I’m going to cut mine in half as I don’t see another insert that will suit my needs.

We’re currently in the middle of a DIY kitchen renovation and decided to switch from the typical 90’s builder-grade two-bowl stainless steel to a single-bowl undermount sink. After doing a bit of research, we came across the Kraus brand. While we hadn’t ever heard of the brand, the reviews on literally every one of their products (basically 4.9 *’s) were undeniable. We decided to give Kraus a shot and are SO glad we did.
Pros:
– Huge profile – almost to the point that we wished we’d gone with a 28″ sink.
– Deep bowl
– Clean lines
– Installation instructions are clear and straightforward; will take some planning for each customer’s specific application
– High-grade stainless steel w/ noise dampeners (silverware “thuds” when dropped into the sink rather than the annoying “clanging”)
Cons:
– Mounting hardware can interfere w/ top of base cabinet even if cabinet meets minimum width/depth specs (our cabinet was 33 1/2″ wide). Ours did, so we simply notched out the top of the base cabinet where there was interference
– Holes specified for mounting hardware were too small for the actual plastic “female” pieces; we adapted by chamfering the starts of the holes so the pieces could get started
Overall, beautiful product, and we’re excited for it to be a focal point of our kitchen for years to come!
