I purchased this Dutch oven to make artisan bread and let me tell you it has delivered what it’s intended to do. I absolutely recommend this dutch oven as it’s heavy duty and can withstand the high temperatures on the oven. The enamel it’s a beautiful deep red and it’s beautiful enough to just leave out for display. Also, had it for an amazing sale price I couldn’t go wrong. Everywhere else sells for over $100. The shipping was super fast even with the Covid19 delays.

Disappointed. The Dutch oven is an absolute perfect size. The color is lovely. However I’m super disappointed! The lid does not fit the base and it does not create an airtight seal it allows steam to escape it kind of defeats the purpose of having a Dutch oven. When I registered my product I emailed Cuisinart and have not heard anything back that was weeks ago. I love the weight of this item and perhaps if it had a correctly fitting lid I might feel differently however it just wobbles I’ve tried to turn it from one side to the other and it doesn’t make a difference.

This works great for longer sourdough loaves (rather than the round ones). I love how easy cleanup is with the enameled surface. I’ve burned a loaf to the pot (parchment paper wasn’t quite long enough) and it still came off after soaking for a while. Sourdough loaves come out great! Price is pretty good, too.

Great size for bake sourdough bread in. Handles are sturdy. Cleaning it up afterwards is also nice and easy!

I had been looking at some more expensive options but ultimately picked this and am so glad I did! It has a hefty weight to it but is not too heavy for me to manage. Foods brown beautifully, and it cleans up like a dream!
