I received my Vasconia 10 qt. Steamer the other day. It is 100% aluminum, and easy to clean. I love being able to just throw my vegetables in the pot and steaming them. They are much more healthy cooking them this way. Take out the steamer tray and you can use this pan to make soups or stews. This pan will get a lot of use in my house.

I can cook so many things in this! With the glass lid I can look at what’s inside without taking off the lid. I have steamed many vegetables, rice, seafood and I have even cooked pasta in it! Everything has come out perfect and delicious and it will be wonderful to use for the holidays!

I really enjoy this steamer & it’s a great use for huge crowds, parties or if you have a big family like I do!!!! I’ve mainly used this product for when I make tamales in my house or for special occasions but I’ve also used this product for steaming up some delicious & healthy vegetables especially for my kids to enjoy!!! I really like that this product is not to big or small just the right size to use to make a large or small amount of tamales or even for vegetables. It’s very lightweight, easy to wash & keep clean, heats up evenly when using this product to steam your vegetables or food items.

Wow, this Vasconia 10 qt. steamer is so easy to use! It’s made steaming veggies and seafood so much easier! Being aluminum, clean up is even easier and being made up of up to 95% recycled
aluminum it’s environmentally friendly! The pot is so large, that I’ve even used it to make a huge pot of soup! I absolutely love this steamer!

This 10 qt. steamer is large. It steams fine, as long as you don’t have smaller items as there are multiple holes that are about 1 inch in diameter and multiple others that are about .625″ to .75″ wide as well (see pic). It is removable and sits about one inch off the bottom of the pot. It does come with a lid as well. Works as described, but is large and would be more efficient with a larger burner.

I am in love with my new pan. I have used it 2 times so far. First when I mad lasagna for Christmas. Being able to make all of the noodles at once is amazing. I then used it for crab legs and was able to cook 3 lbs at a time. May have fit more but I only needed 3 lbs. Only advice is keep it away from husbands who throw everything in the dishwasher because my lid is now discolored

We got this due to the size, which it is very large. It feels cheaply made. Extremely lightweight to the point that I thought the lid was plastic. The sticker on the front also doesn’t peel off well and leaves residue. I dont think it would be great for everyday use. I doubt it’ll be an item that will last very long.

I love this pot, it is perfect size to cook half dozen ears of corn, it heats the water fast as well reheats to a boil fast after adding the food to pot. Love the steam part also. Only draw back is that the inside discolored but that hasn’t made using it a problem

You can steam rice, vegetables, shrimp and crab legs, tamales and more with this big daddy. Nicely sized 100% Aluminum Steamer. You can also use it as a stock pot for pasta or whatever. Comes with a a removable stem tray and a snug fit see through glass lid. You can easily transport it with the handles. Large 10qt capacity. Compatible with most cooking surfaces.

I don’t have a steamer for steaming frozen vegetables or other food related that needs to he heated without using an oven. Steamer is big, but VERY HARD to use. These hole edges are sharp if not careful handling it. I almost cut my fingers. It also barely fit inside it, I had to force it to fit, and that’s how I almost cut my self because I have to force it out as well. I am not happy with this product at all.

I like that this unit is large enough to fit a good amount of food to steam. It is nice and wide and tall.
I was originally put off by how thin the aluminum is because it feels very cheap however once I realized that water boils extremely fast because the pot itself is thin, it makes sense.
The aluminum insert that you put the food on inside the pot to separate it from the water is also thin and time will tell if it holds up to use.
One thing that I really do not like is the lid. The handle on top is way too small and hard to grab. I do not know why they would have made it so short. You can barely grab it. it also had a sharp piece of plastic from manufacture sticking out that I had to smooth with an exacto knife. Where the handle is screwed to the glass the seal is attached crooked. I took it apart and fixed it.
The pot itself and the inside came very dirty. I know to wash it first but it looked like it was somewhere dirty before it got to me.
All said it does the job. The water boils very fast and it does steam food. Time will tell how durable it is.

I recently had the pleasure of using the Vasconia steamer pot to prepare asparagus, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This kitchen essential exceeded my expectations in every way. The pot’s durable construction and efficient design made steaming a breeze, ensuring that my asparagus turned out perfectly tender and vibrant in color. Its generous capacity allowed me to easily cook enough asparagus for a family dinner, and the tight-fitting lid helped lock in flavors and nutrients. Overall, the Vasconia steamer pot has become an indispensable addition to my kitchen, making healthy cooking a delight. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient steaming solution.

We used this pot on Christmas Day to steam 4 lobsters. It was more than big enough, and we probably could have fit a couple more. The weight of the glass top is substantial, and it is helpful to be able to see the progress of the cooking. The body of the pan is much lighter, and it was discolored inside at the end of the process. I was unable to lose the darkened look below the boil line. It makes it feel not clean, even after a lot of scrubbing and soap.

The reason for me giving two stars is just because the pot isn’t totally useless to me. I’m thinking that I’m missing a piece because the steamer rack sits directly on the bottom of the pot, and there’s no room for any water. I tried balancing it towards the top of the pan where the screws are that hold the handles on, but then you don’t have room to put the lid on, which still renders it useless for steaming. But I can still use it for a soup or stock pot, so it’s not a total loss.

I have the vasconia 10 QT steamer. I got it just in time for all of my garden produce to be coming in. It is really great for my corn on the cob. Instead of boiling my corn I put it in the steamer and it comes out wonderful. It is a really big size so I can get lots of ears of corn in it . I’m really looking forward to using it more with my garden produce.

This 10 quart steamer pot has been perfect to steam vegetables in. There is nothing like freshly steamed broccoli with a little butter and salt and pepper! A large head of broccoli, cut into pieces of course, fits perfectly inside. The pot is just the right size- not too large or heavy like other steamer pots I have had. It is well made and sturdy, the steamer tray is easy to move in an out of the pot- when everything is cool!- and overall the pot is easy to keep clean. I may even try to steam some shrimp, as the packaging suggests it’s great for seafood too. Overall I am happy to have this steamer pot in my kitchen.
