The two pieces I ordered were ruined before I even got to use them, and now they’re out of stock…. Thin plastic is not how you package wood that is $70. The ends are totally wrecked, and because they aren’t finished, as soon as the plastic is broken, you have 48 hours to finish them.

Purchased backsplash to complete installment of companion butcher block countertop. Matches perfectly. Did not need a 96” board which was the only length available, but it was easy to cut to size.

I can’t believe they don’t make a backsplash with the spice stain. Provincial 211 did not look exactly right so I mixed some English Walnut with it and the stain color was pretty close. I had to buy 2 pieces and one stained somewhat better than the other. The wood did not take the stain evenly and had a spot that wouldn’t stain at all. My one piece looks like a patchwork quilt. I wish I had just bought a plain board for 20 and stained it instead of $120 that don’t seem to match the countertop. I do like my countertops by the way that came already stained. I am giving it 2 stars because you might luck out and get 2 pieces that stain the same.

It looks good but not a good choice for the kitchen countertops. It splits and paint comes off. We have to buy additional stain and sealer to protect from water damage. If we didn’t cut the item, we would definitely return it

The Hevea back splash was added to the Hevea 24×1.75x 10ft and 24×1.75x8ft Counter tops for visual effects, toppedButcher with glass marble tile. The Butcher blocks and back splashes were easy to work with ;ie, sanding , staining , sealing ( multiple coats ), and within our budget.

A young man helped us carry our return in. Sorry didn’t get his name but was on his way to clock in and worked in the return area. So polite and helpful. Was helped out with our new purchase and the other young man helped secure in the back of our pickup truck. Excellent visit also a kind salesman helped us find things we were there to purchase.

I truly enjoy the style and tone. Lightweight for easy transport, but durable. The stain finish could be applied heavier. Depending how a person sands for a final finish, the espresso look can lighten quickly.

I absolutely love my new Hevea backsplash panels! The rich, warm tones remind me of a gorgeous sunrise over the ocean. When the light hits them in the morning, subtle shades of orange and yellow seem to glow behind my kitchen sink. The panels were so easy to install. Now my kitchen feels bright and peaceful at the same time. If you’re looking to add some radiance to your cooking space, I can’t recommend these tequila sunrise-hued backsplash panels enough!

This product as well as the counter in the same line, are easily scratched. That being said, it’s nothing a little stain or old english can’t fix. I used this in my new kitchen and love the look. Can also be cut for side splashes.

Overall, the product is as advertised. The stain was a beautiful color, wood was reasonable quality for the price. Removing one star for several drip marks from the stain appear at certain angles
