I like the Style and Make and Color of the American Standard Sullivan Kitchen Sink 33-in X 22 -in Stainless Steel Double-Bowl Drop-In Residential Sink. Price was also affordable.
I purchased the Sink 08/07/2021 and it was installed 09/03/2021. It was supposed to be Durable, Heat, Tarnish and Scratch Resistant. My husband and I are the only residents of this home. As such, I have been very careful not to dump or throw dishware or utensils into my sink. In less than a week I started seeing scratches in the bottom of the bowl and around the top edge of the bowl. As such, I am quite disappointed in this purchase. My old sink, did not have as many scratches as I am seeing in my new sink.
Is there something that will remove the scratches
I am giving a rating of Two Stars due to the scratches, otherwise sink would rank higher.

I installed this about a month ago and my 30 year old sink looked better than this does now. This has scratches all over. I have not abused this sink at all we have a dishwasher that is used all the time. There should not be this many scratches in a new sink. It looks old in my updated kitchen. Very disappointed in yhis.

Sink was easy to install and looks great, but you’ll need to buy a separate faucet. The faucet that comes with it has awful pressure. We completely disassembled it looking for the flow adjuster (standard on the vast majority of faucets) only to find it doesn’t have one. Terrible faucet.

A spot weld broke on the undermount track on the sink. The faucet hose did not stay clipped together, the weight was missing, and no instructions so I couldn’t see if maybe there was a clip or something that held the hoses together where the one is inserted into the other. Nope just garbage

Ended up buying the kit even though we already had a faucet because we liked the lay out on this one even though its a medium thickness steel. So far its working well we do have a high arching faucet on it that flexes a little but not too much. We needed the sink that day so had to chose between a design we liked or the thicker steel. It seems to be ok though.

I like that it came with all the hardware. I had to buy some extra parts to attach a garbage disposal. My wife didn’t know if she would like it as a replacement for her 25 year old porcelain sink, but she loves it.

When I purchased my home, it already had this sink installed. I have purchased multiple sink strainers for the right side and haven’t found a single one that fits and touches the bottom of the sink. The rounded inner corners of the sink don’t allow most sink strainers to touch the bottom. I have one floating in the sink and am losing half of the sink depthness.

You get what you pay for. Love the sink size and since we had to install a drop in sink, stainless steel was fine. I am so careful not to drop dishes in the sink and keep the sink clean but it scratches easily. I have put sink guards on both sides now and that should help. I’ve had stainless steel sinks many times in the past, but not one that shows scratches like this. Also have got to polish the sink regularly because water spots can get really bad. Wish I had spent about $150 more for a better quality sink, but as I said you get what you pay for.

I really like the sink kit I purchased and the price, but I had real problem with getting a sink that has 4 preopened holes. Unlike the photo on the box, displace at Lowe’s, and the description on the web. I wa forced to put it in, since I already hired someone to put it in to replace a leaking sink. Plus, I had to purchase plugs for the holes to prevent dripping into the cabinet. I was not happy about that. Lowe’s could help me with that. I really hate the way it looks with the plugs.

The sink is great. The faucet when went to install appeared to need a o ring or gasket at the base.
One did not come with we installed any ways it now leaks out of the bottom and on to the counter top. Tried to talk to a associate and they did not have any interest going to reach out to American standard its going to be a pain to fix any advice would be appreciated.

I purchased this in June 2019. I paid for professional installation. By October, the faucet would squeak as it was turned from one side or the other. I contact and at first the installation representative was put out by my complaint. Then, I brought them a video and he finally listened. They contacted the manufacturer who then provided a replacement faucet. The replacement faucet was installed in December 2019. Well today, less than two months later the faucet is squeaking again as you rotate the head. We have two people living in our home and the faucet gets very minimal use. I am extremely disappointed in this faucet and you will be too. I will never buy an American Standard product again.

I have wanted a faucet with pull away nozzle for quite a while, but could not bring myself to put that much money into one. When I saw this combo for this price it was perfect. 2 different sized sinks, a soap dispenser(that loads from the top) and an ideal faucet with 2 water settings….you cannot beat. I have had it for a month and a half and have had no issues so far.

The sink faucet where you can pull it out to use as a sprayer completely shredded. Weve obly had this sink for about 6 months! Called they directed me to the American standard company who makes the sink. Called them they said I would have a new faucet in 5 to 7 business days because of lifetime warranty it’s going on two weeks and I have nothing. The wait time to speak with a two is ridiculous. The American standard rep was rude and I don’t believe she even put in for my new faucet to be sent!!! Never again will I purchase this brand for anything in my home! This was not a issue so no harm done with i will still be a customer.

Last October, I purchased an American Standard Sullivan Drop-In 33 x 22 x 8-inch Stainless Steel Offset Kitchen sink (Model #20CR.332282C.075) and a American Standard Single Control Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet (Model number 9167.101) from my local Lowe’s store. The sink and faucet were sold as a kit, which means the faucet was packed in the box with the sink.
I hired a licensed plumber to install the sink. The next day, I noticed a pool of water at the base of the faucet spout (see photos). My plumber came over, disassembled the faucet and concluded the main housing and/or the sink were defective. There was water in the main housing, which caused water to leak out at the base of the housing. In addition, the brass cartridge nut wobbled when secured tightly to the faucet housing and there was visible play in the main housing.
I called the American Standard help line and explained my leak situation to the agent. The agent told me that American Standard can send me a new brass cartridge nut and new cartridge. I could then replace the nut and cartridge to see if that would stop the leak. Otherwise, I’d have to ship the entire sink and faucet to AS to get a replacement sink and faucet.
I now keep a towel next to the faucet and just wipe up the leaky spot each time I use the faucet. I sent a message to American Standard asking which AS faucets are compatible with the AS offset sink, but I have yet to hear from them. I would not recommend using American Standard products.

The sink is scratched up after 3 weeks of normal use. My old stainless steel sink looked like this after 10 years of use. Also the bottom of the sink shows dark stains and swirls after water is run in it but the greatest problem is the scratches.

The sink itself was OK, but with some detail issues:
1. Quality control: There were a couple of small ‘dings’ along the back edge that had to have occurred during handling prior to packaging, because the edges were well protected by u-shaped styrofoam and there were no signs of impacts on the outer box. (Open the box and inspect before you buy!)
2. An Insinkerator disposal mount fits well in the drain depression, but not the included drain assemblies! (They’re too small in diameter, and can move from side to side within the mounting area, even when tightened down.) Also, the rubber stopper at the bottom of the drain strainer/stopper is ‘cheesy’ and doesn’t work well; pops back out after being pressed down to close the drain. (If you put a disposal in one side, you might want to buy a better drain assembly for the other side.)
3. As others have stater, ‘free’ accessories are cheap plastic and of little value—I would gladly trade for a little thicker steel or slightly lower price.

This sink combo is an amazing price for the quality. I read some reviews where folks complained that the sink scratches. Please note that the sink itself does not scratch. The bottom of the sink has a coating that makes it appear that there are scratches on the sink. These will fade away as the coating slowly dissolves. You can buy grates for the bottom of the sink for heavy pots and pans. This is very durable and a brushed stainless which looks very classy. Read the instructions even if you have someone install this sink and it will explain about the scratches. Don’t let it keep you from getting this wonderful deal.

Like everyone else around here money is tight trying to build after the hurricane. It was time to buy the sink and faucet. I needed a double sink but wanted one smaller than the other. The first thing I saw was American Standard. My dad always said it was a good product. So I took a closer look. It was a double sink with the size bowls I wanted and even better it included the faucet. It was a complete setup! The faucet alone is 100.00 value every day all day. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that the vox showed 2 holes 1 for the faucet and 1 for the soap. When I opened the box the sink had 4 holes. I was a little dissapointed, nut the value for the money was too good. I just bought 2 caps and capped the other 2 holes. Who knows maybe in the future I will need them if I change to a different faucet type. I am very very happy with my purchase.

This sink really solved our needs. We bought an older home and wanted to update the kitchen counters and sink, and focused on offset double bowl models. Most new sinks are 9 inches deep or more – – that caused a problem with the drain location; it was too high out of the wall. The finish is very nice, we mounted from the top and the transition to the counters is smoother than expected, the drain assemblies match the stainless which is nice. Plus, it comes with the faucet!

I was pleased to find this sink with everything included as well as the faucet! The connections for the faucet were short and completely opposite the faucet we replaced. Once we got that figured out and another trip to to get the correct fittings to hook the garbage disposal up. It was finally time to use the sink. Immediately realized there was going to be issues with water pooling and running all over counters and occasionally the floor if not careful. The sink is entirely flat, there is no dips or ridges in this sink to allow the water to go back into the sink, so it just goes everywhere, no matter how gentle or careful you are with the water….its just impossible to keep the water in the sink!! When you wash your hands the water…its just everywhere….as someone else mentioned its also impossible to keep looking clean with the water going everywhere you have to literally wipe it dry each and EVERY time to keep it from looking a complete mess. I’m so disappointed. My fiancé and I are not avid do it yourselfers so on top of wasting the money and time it took us to install we now must live with this nightmare of a sink.

We were excited to find this sink kit because it was finally a sink and faucet that my wife and I agreed upon while remodeling the kitchen. After installing this sink, I went to hook up the waterlines and they were too short by about 1.5 inches. Sink was already installed with silicone, and clips, so I ended up spending another ~$150 for a less desirable faucet assembly. Completely disappointed.
I gave it two stars because at least the sink looks nice.
At a minimum American Standard and or should put on the box how long the integrated lines are.

Easy assembly and install for a DIY person. It worked really well at first, but after a few days the pressure has dropped coming out the faucet. Not sure where the issue lies but it is in faucet somewhere.

Purchased this American Standard/Sullivan Sink Item #960621 on 6/25/20 and installed 2 weeks later. Right out of the box it started smudging with fingerprints and was difficult to remove. We thought that would go away, but that is not the case. It is a constant mess of smudge prints that needs to be cleaned constantly to make it look good and now it is rusting on the left side! I just can’t say enough bad things about this sink!! The price was right, but you get what you pay for and we should have uninstalled it and returned it to immediately! We are going to call American Standard directly and will post their response and keep this review updated!

We purchased this all in one kit solely because we felt assured all pieces would work together. Was purchased for a rental house we own. Had my son come an install it. He pulled out the old sink, set the new one, then began to install the fauctes. This was on a Sunday afternoon, nearest 30 miles away Went the faucets- that’s when we realized there were 4 holes instead of two. Yes we should have looked, but really didn’t expect American Standard to put the wrong sink in a set being purchased as an “all in one 2 hole sink” Didn’t want to leave our tenant without a sink for a week so we now have a sink with 2 extra holes. We will probably purchase those things that fill in the holes and hope will give us some $$$ back. Otherwise, the sink and fixtures look great!

We love the way it looks, especially with a different faucet. The one it comes with wasn’t one we liked, but the sink is still a good deal even if you throw away the faucet. One caveat about the style: one sink won’t overflow into the other when it’s full unless you mount it under the countertop. If you mount it as a drop-in there is no safety net; once it gets full the water will flow onto your counter and onto the floor. But, the capacity of the sinks is large, so it will take a long time to overfill the sink.
Now, about those mounting clips: they slide freely in tracks on all four sides of the sink. That’s not bad in itself, but you have to be careful when you lift the sink, or the clips will slide out of their tracks. Also, when tightening the clips, then tend to move out of place as you tighten them, so you’ll need to hang onto the clip firmly with one hand while tightening it with the other. That’s tricky when you’re under the cabinet and the sink is slightly out of arms reach. Also, it seems that these clips were not designed for drop-in installation in thick granite countertops, but they can be made to work.
The sink bowls are heavily coated on the bottom, so there won’t be a lot of noise from the stainless steel while you’re using the sink, despite the fact that this is not the thickest metal available. I appreciated that the metal was a little thinner when lifting the sink into place–it’s considerably lighter than the sink I took out. Also, I think this sink would work well if your countertop isn’t absolutely flat, since you can pull it down into place with the mounting clips to compensate for slight countertop warpage.

Purchased this Sullivan model sink w/faucet at in March 2019. Installed it shortly thereafter. Sink looked great until we started to wash stainless pots and pans in it. We are not roughnecks, but the surface of the sink scratches very easily, and the scratches cannot be removed. Stainless is obviously too soft for where it is meant to be used. Spigot works fine, but yesterday, after only seven month’s of normal use, the spout, when turned left or right makes a terrible screeching sound, Sounds like the rubber, or whatever material is used at the base on which the faucet pivots, is dried out or rubbing more than it should. I am
unhappy with this product thus far!!

Purchased this Sullivan model sink w/faucet at in Jan 2020 (Item # 960621 Model # 20CR.332282C.075) and had it installed by an independent contractor. It has only been in use less than a week and it is totally scratched up and I do not know what would have done that and the scratches cannot be removed. I am the only one using the sink and am “old and weak” and would not even have the ability to scratch up a normal sink. My prior sink was 30 years old original in the house and did not look as bad as this sink does after only 5 days of mild use! I am very unhappy with this sink and have tried to contact American Standard twice by email but have not gotten a response. I am also not keen on having my new counters / new plumbing (done at the same time as the sink replacement ) ripped up to replace the sink but I am asking American Standard to do just that and cover the cost of labor and the sink since I see other reviews (on the americanstandard web page for item # 33139), after the fact, with the same problem I am having!

Thanks for the FAST replacement of the sprayer head. The warranty process was a quick response and service. Being in Alaska, some companies treat us like a foreign country.

This sink has a totally flat top surface. There is no raised lip to help catch any water splashed onto the surface. What’s worse is the center divider is the same height as the surrounding top surface. Switching the faucet from one sink to the other (with water running) gets you a nice waterfall over the front of your cabinets and onto the floor. Terrible design!! I’m replacing it today. Also, the faucet that comes with it becomes hard to swivel between sinks and has an annoying squeak. I’ll be replacing that as well, with a Moen.
