I needed a steam basket for my 24 quart Tramontina stock pot, and thought that the dimensions of this model from Bayou Classic might work. As the saying goes, “It’s better to be lucky than good!” It turned out that the basket fits perfectly inside of my stock pot, the upper rim rests on the handle rivets on the inside of the stock pot, and when seated, the basket sits 3 inches above the bottom – perfect for steaming. Couldn’t have custom designed a basket any better. I have a Bayou Classic propane burner, so I knew the quality would be good, which it is. I concluded that the dimensions of the Bayou Classic 24 quart stock pot that this steam basket is designed for are nearly identical to my stock pot.
