I bought the 1qt version of this pot years ago and I love it. I needed a 2qt so there was no hesitation when deciding to buy this pot. It’s well made, sturdy, cleans up easy. There aren’t any crevasses that food/grease to get caught in.

It’s thee best pot of that size and I want more of them

I love all my cuisinart; I have had some pots for over 20 year and they are still perfect. This pot has quickly become a favorite. It is a perfect size for soups and stews; reasonably priced and easy to clean. I intend on replacing all my pots with cuisinart and absolutely recommend them

Love my stainless steel pots. Never used another brand and will never need too.

Excellent pot, very even heat distribution, easy to clean

I bought this pan I loved it until I I used it. It stained on the first use plus it gets black spots. What causes this ?

I purchased a CUISINART 6 quart pot previously to replace a severely warped copper bottom pot I used for soups and stews. I was so impressed with the quality, features, and price that I purchased a 1 quart, a 2 quart, and this 4 quart. My old ones went into the recycle bin.
I thought the cool metal handle was a ploy, but they really work. The bottoms are much heavier than my old ones and cook more evenly.
Follow the instructions and these will last a lifetime. I cook on medium high temps at most, salt the water AFTER its boiling, and don’t put cold water in a hot pan. These are fantastic pans!

Nice size for smaller dishes. Love the construction!

It should have a glass top and be included in a set

I love the lid and the pour ability. It fits my cooking needs.

I bought each piece individually as it was cheaper with the sales. The 2qt pot that I bought did not have the strainer. I don’t care for the glass lids as they hold water between the metal and the class. The pot I bought has a metal lid. It is perfect just as expected. I have not had 1 problem with it.

So far so good, used once for spaghetti sauce. I love that the handle does not get hot while cooking. I’m pleased with my purchase.

Great sauce pan! Heats evenly, nice quality for the money.

Good value, and seems to be of hight quality. However, as another reviewer noted, several small black spots appeared in the center of the pan, but don’t seem to affect its function. Also, the lid handle gets fairly hot.

Replacement part was received as promised for a defect saucepan

I love this pan and would have given 5 stars except that the lid gets very hot and you will burn your fingers if you don’t remember to use a pot holder. Also, the handle is very skinny and is awkward to pick up when full of liquid.

It cook all things really well. So far I have had nothing to stick to the bottom. I am loving it.
I choose it for its quality.

Excellent product. Every bit as expected. Amazing quality.

This is for a 4-quart black stainless steel, covered saute pan with two short/small handles. Upon first use in boiling water seasoned with salt and pepper, black marks appeared and upon second use the spots began to craze.

This would be a perfect pot if it had a handle on the other side too so a person could pick up the pot with both hands.
Anonymous –
Water boils quicker, than my other pots with glass lids and is easy to clean.

Very good quality at a very good price. Only problem I’ve had with this pot, is that it seems to have little black spots afte salting boiling water. It scrubbed off and so far hasn’t returned. Rivets may be of different material because they don’t clean the same as the pot. Slight tarnish and there expansion noise when heating pot. This indicates different expansion rate for the handle vs the pot.

Had to return the saucepan because of black imperfections inside pot after heating water. Noticed other reviews citing the same problem. I didn’t check reviews before purchasing due to the reputation of manufacturer.

I was warned after I bought the pan by my sister about Stainless steel pans that they were quirky. With that in mind the first time I used it to make some soup. I quickly realized that the pan heats up liquids much quicker than the non stick one I had which I liked and required a lower flame which I liked and food gets cooked faster overall. Love it.

Cuisinart cookware is durable and easy to clean. Best of all is the lifetime warranty, which I’ve had to claim once. The replacement process was painless and quick as Cuisanart immediately replaced a defective sauté pan. I now only purchase cuisinart cookware for myself and as gifts to family and friends.

I had cooked with Revere Ware back in the day however it’s no longer available. I switch to the Cuisinart and I could not be happier. Easy to clean, lightweight, and one of my pots has a glass lid which I absolutely love.

Average. It is shiny but gets water stains. It is light weight but loud when the lid is on.

Great saucepan, bought it to make caramel. Wish the economics of manufacturing these days would allow Cuisinart to make this item domestically. A wire whisk will lightly scratch it up. Not sure if that is just a cosmetic issue or not. The included directions do caution to not use metal utensils if you want to preserve to mirror finish inside this saucepan. Note: I bought this item specifically because I wanted an alternative to my non-stick saucepan for use with certain recipes (like caramel).

This is a great pan! It cooks things evenly. Purchased this pan because of Cuisinart’s reputation for quality and my experience great with other of their products. The cover fits snuggly. It is great for cooking vegetables. I use it almost every day to boil eggs. I would recommend this pan to family members, and I would purchase this pan again.
