Unlike the garbage disposal “insert” that looks very much like this item, this item works as expected. It fully replaces the drain piece, fits well in the groove carved out for it by the manufacturer and has a well-fitting strainer.
This matches the color of the sink and gives it a nice clean finished appearance.

I was a little nervous about it being plastic as I have only used metal in the past. However, after using it for over two months, they work great, still look new and does the job nicely. They were very easy to install too.

Very disappointed that they come with silver strainer baskets. You buy a black sink you want black strainers. I could’ve just bought a stainless steel sink!

For $25 this thing is great, even though it’s plastic. Easy install and the strainer sits up enough to drain but doesn’t let food fall through. Snaps right in for plugging. It has a small ball bearing and spring just like a wratchet wrench, it’s the best design for plugging/draining

Very expensive for a low quality plastic trap, but it does match the Karran matt black quartz sink perfectly and the paint won’t chip off like other similar products seem to have an issue with if you read the reviews. So….I guess just don’t over tighten it or drop anything heavy on it?
The product works well enough, I was just expecting something of better quality for the money.

I just bought this with the Karran sink. Looks great. We live in a salt environment so I knew a stainless sink drain would eventually rust and this will not so I am overall happy with the product. The only thing I would request is better instructions. The bottom piece of this drain is bigger than the typical bathroom sink drain. The p trap kit wouldn’t work with it so I had to go back to the home improvement store to hunt for some plumbing parts to make things connect. Luckily I finally found something that worked.

This looks great with the black sink but since it is plastic, it broke into pieces when trying to tighten it down. We opted for a Kohler Black metal one.

Was a little concerned about them being plastic. Afraid i would f not be able to tighten them enough to make a good seal. Easy to insert all and no leaks.

Goes great with the Karan sink we bought. The only thing is the lip around the edge sticks up just enough that some of the water pools around the ring. Not a big deal though.

I had 2 damaged strainer baskets and customer service sent me 1 because they don’t sell baskets separately. I still thank them for what they did and I’ll have still to purchase another total assembly to obtain just the basket.

This matches perfectly to the Karran Quartz Farmhouse Apron Front in black. I wanted the sink to look as uniform as possible and this accomplished that. I also ordered the garbage disposal flange.

Not bad for plastic. It matched the sink color but in the end I’m returning it because the garbage disposal flang is junk. This was over priced for the material.

I specifically decided against using the thin plastic 1.5″ drain pipes and trap because I had heard they don’t last. It was somewhat disappointing to find the bottom of this $32 item is made of that cheap plastic. It looks good but I don’t expect it to last as long as the plumbing it’s attached to.
