Gave it 4 stars because consider somewhat pricey $$$ for a roughly 13.75 x 17.5 inches ss grill that sits above the bottom of the sink about 1.5 inches. (Don’t know how a few reviewers write it gives them more sink room.) It closes off the bottom use of the sink by about 350 cubic inches. It does, however, minimize scratching the stainless steel sink with silverware and metal pans.
Can’t understand why this model #6453 is roughly $20 cheaper than the exact same ss sink grid #6483 that fits on the left side of the Octave sink. Only exception is that the hole is to the left to fit the drain hole. I would not pay close to $70 for the left one.

I love how this design allows for more space in my sink. It makes the sink feel so much bigger (especially since I’m terrible at emptying it, ah parenting).

The Moen Octavia sink grate fits like a glove. It also looks really nice. One of the highest quality grates I have ever ordered. I definitely would highly recommend this if you buy the Octavia sink.

Fit as I expected on the right side of my sink. Kohler Octave Sink only came with left side so I went ahead and ordered the right side grate. I love how it creates a gap between the bottom of the sink and the dishes so the water just flows through and does not pool.

Heavy duty, well made and my sink is cleaner because the grid is about 1 1/2” off the bottom of the sink. Well worth the price.
