After using Kohler products for more than 40 years, I suddenly had a problems with two kitchen faucets and one of the soap dispensers. Called Kohler this morning, and I was lucky to speak with a service rep namedJen (sp). I just want to mention that her service was superb. I have seldom met a service representative of any company that patient a polite and helpful. Many thanks for helping me out!

Soap dispenser works well and looks good. We have one for hand and another for dish soap. Had the same model in our previous home for >10 years without any problems. Current poorly made plastic bottle soap reservoir cracks at the connection to the main part of the bottle. Needs to be checked frequently under the sink lest you have a large mess of soap under your cabinet. Fortunately a cheap fix ordering another but an unnecessary inconvenience.

I was home today when I heard a thump in the kitchen. After sleuthing around I determine the soap dispenser bottle, attached to this faucet, dislodged on its own and dropped down from its placement under the sink. Sigh. Try and think of what you have under your sink and how easy it is (it’s not at all) to remove everything from that space and clean it of liquid soap. Unbelievable! Basically, the threads on the top of the bottle broke free from the rest of the container. (Now that I think of it, I bet the threads are still lodged into the sink somehow. I’ll look tomorrow because it just took hours to clean up spilled soap). Looks as though they have a replacement part but I have to keep replacing odd and end items on this sink … there are only two adults living in our home … so all of our items barely undergo what can be considered normal wear and tear in my opinion.

Dispenser was installed when we built our home in 2015. Just went kaput after 6.5 years of use. We like the design and function up until it quit. The nozzle fell off and the plastic pumping mechanism started to cease up. We’ll try another one and see if we get 6 years again.

First one lasted 10 years, with heavy use from family of 5.
:: Pros: Sturdy, easy to clean, dispenses the right amount of soap, replacement bottle available at a reasonable price.
:: Con: Refilling it. To refill from top carries risk of overflow because I can’t see the soap level. To refill from the bottom requires an advanced limbo position where I shimmy into my cupboard on my back, reach up, and unscrew the bottle. Then I do it again to install the full bottle.
Weakest part seems to be the plastic bottle. Once had soap oozing from my cupboard due to a broken bottle, so now I keep a small bucket in my cupboard to catch the drips.

My Kohler soap dispenser broke. The arm that dispenses the soap actually broke off where there was some kind of grommet or rubber washer. Because I can see it was made with an indent around .Automatically most will call it to a poor design . I see it differently. I see it as someone who did not know how the soap dispenser works pressed down on the small thin arm that reaches into the sink and literally broke the arm . Maybe not all the way but certainly gave it fault. How do I know this ? Well because I saw someone in my family doing it. My next one will have a label that says PRESS DOWN on the top of the knob where you should press down.
The only other answer which would be caused by the manufacturer is that when the little groove was cut into the round arm it left the arm weak basically with very little metal to support the arm if someone pressed down upon it.
Or it corroded and broke by age and time. I believe it was misused.

Bought this to go with my matte black Crue faucet. It matches the design of the faucet adequately, but I would have preferred one that was designed specifically for the faucet—the lines and detailing are a little different than the Crue. It has curves to the spout and the side of the body, where as the Crue is all straight lines.
It was really easy to install and pumps out soap like it’s supposed to. The price seems a bit exorbitant, but the quality is there—heavy, solid brass, high-quality finish, and smooth pump action.

I have three of these in the house. Love the style, etc. but they spout has come off/out three different times (one time for each) and it can’t be reliably re-inserted or glued in. So know that you’re going to be making a repeat investment in these every couple of years… I have to assume it’s a quality issue as it shouldn’t really come out … and I have now bought six of these for the three working instances required.
