We purchased this undermount sink to install with new quartz countertops in late October, 2018. The sink looks beautiful and we really like the DrainAssure WaterWay and the drain cover. The cover, along with the sound insulation, really quiet the noise from the garbage disposal. We have now used the sink over two months and it is looking as good as new. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase of the Kraus KD1US33B sink.

Bought for a remodel and was unsure how I would like since couldn’t see in person before buying. Got it delivered, well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Installation directions were simple to understand and implement even though this was first time installing an n undermount.
The finish is wonderful and complimented the walnut countertops. The drain sure waterway is a great feature when soaking pans as the water continues to be drain. The depth of the sink allows for washing and not splashing out.
The template included made for planning the location of the cut, but the available .dxf file for the countertop fabricator made for a perfect fit.
All in all a great sink for the price!

We love this sink. The water flows easily down the drain and it maintains a professional, high-quality appearance. Many complain about sinks scratching on the bottom, but 1) all stainless steel will do so, and 2) we purchased the grate to sit above the sink bottom, so that helps a lot. Great sound dampening, especially when running our insinkerator garbage disposal.

I bought a Kraus Dex sink for my kitchen remodel after a long debate between Kraus and Kohler. After reading numerous reviews from home owners and even contractors I decided to go with Kraus! Best decision I every made just the way the sink delivered in a protective cover and packed in a special way to show that Kraus products are quality. I have had the sink for 2 years now and very glad I purchased the Kraus Dex sink!

I was hesitant about buying a stainless steel sink due to the fact they can be very noisy. Boy was I wrong concerning this Kraus sink. This sink is very quiet and attractive to look at. You can see the qulaity throughout the construction. The installer said he never installed a sink with this amount of soundproofing, which meant we had made the right decision. Love the sink.

I just received this sink today. It arrived ahead of schedule. The packaging was very good and sink was well protected. The drain mechanism is also stainless steel and seems well designed. I was happy about this because I ordered another brand sink that I returned and the drain mechanism was plastic and felt cheap and flimsy. The sink is a nice brushed stainless steel that matches the faucet I purchased. I can’t wait to install this!

I really like this sink. Previously, I had a dual sink, but really don’t need that setup and I don’t like having the under-cabinet be just a ton of pipes. This sink has a perfect depth to it and the drain cover looks great. The oven mitt it comes with is great too!

We built a house and wanted a large undermount sink that would go with our other stainless-steel appliances and be a center piece. We found it in the KD1US33B single bowl sink. It’s big, beautiful, and have thick pads to dampen the echo sound that stainless steel sinks tend to have. I like the design of the drain cover, so you don’t see the disposal, but the sink still drains water! The sink has a beautiful finish that looks great too! There’s so much room that there’s no worries about washing a large pot in it. Friends and family are impressed by the design and function of our sink. We’re really enjoying our sink!

We renovated our 1985 kitchen last Nov and ditched the 50/50 dual bowl 7″ deep each 14″ x 16″ (interior) sink. What get?! The reviews together with independent research made KRAUS Dex™ 33-Inch Undermount Single Bowl the best value!
WE LOVE THIS SINK, quiet and the single 10″ deep bowl with wire grid bottom is just a pleasure to use everyday; why did we wait so long!

We purchased the Kraus Dex 25″ single bowl sink for our kitchen remodel. The 25″ inch is a great size, nice large rounded corners for ease of cleaning and love the design, something a bit different. We can fit all of our big pans in it with room to spare! We love the Drain Assure! ALL the water drains out of the sink, no water is left sitting in the bottom and the drain cover is a great touch for a finished look. Even while washing dishes, the drain cover is left on, and all the water drains out. It is well sound proofed, no clanking or tinny sounds with this sink. The only downside is the ease of scratching but hey, its a kitchen sink.
We are very happy to have purchased this sink!

This sink is everything that my husband and I were looking for in our new kitchen. The size is just what we needed when we entertain guests. It holds all the dishes and utensils without having to clutter up the countertop. I also bought the sink grid; I just feel more comfortable having it in the sink to help preserve the sink.

This sink is amazing.
1. The corners are not too modern, but not too open
2. The FINISH – The finish on this sink is nicer than the stainless on my Viking
3. The drain system works so well. The cover works as intended; it keeps the bottom clean looking and sleek
4. I can’t believe how this thing is packaged. I was home when it was getting dropped off by UPS and the driver dropped the sink. I was shocked when I opened it up and found how well packed it is!. It has more foam than a cooler!
I just want to thank Kraus for an awesome sink and Directsinks for their great service helping me order the sink!

On my old sink, it really bothered me that sometimes the water would gather in the sink because a big pot or a flexible plastic cutting board would block the drainage. This sink solved that problem for me! and I am really glad that I purchased this. The corners are not super sharp too which make it easier to clean. Great purchase

I bought this sink and am very disappointed! It is pretty but impossible to keep clean. Food sticks to the sink; it has to be SCRUBBED every time it’s used and the sides are always waterstained making it look dirty! Poorly designed it seems it needs more of a slope so the water and food particles go down the drain! I get frustrated with this sink every day.

We recently replaced the counter-top in our kitchen and took the opportunity to replace the drop-in sink with this beautiful Kraus Dex under-mount. I hadn’t come across the Dex models previously and was impressed with their attractive and functional waterway design. Ours is installed with a garbage disposal and we use the included drain covers to hide the otherwise ugly disposal. The sink is much more solid and far quieter than the previous stainless steel sink it replaced. We are also using the optional grids to protect the bottom of the sink as you can see in the photo.

My husband and I were/are in the process of updating our kitchen. We knew we wanted a single bowl sink. To me they just make sense. How often have you fought with your sink every single time you need to wash a big item like cooking/baking sheets or large pots? We also knew we wanted a quality sink that was going to be tough and hold up to daily use and that wasn’t “loud” and “tinny” sounding. This sink far exceeds what we were hoping for. We debated between this sink and a porcelain and we couldn’t be happier that we chose this. It is so large that I never have to worry about if I can get enough into it. I’m pretty confident it holds an entire dishwasher full of dishes. The finish on it is exceptional. It has a nice satiny finish that doesn’t shine but is certainly not dull. The drain system is so fantastic. When you order you receive all 3 different options. Because it only has the one drain hole we hooked up our new disposer to it and used the cover. It gives it such a nice “finished” look that you don’t have to see the ugly black disposer set up. It is super easy to just remove that cover to put your food down the disposer and to clean. I would also recommend ordering the matching grate for the bottom of the sink. The more protection the better! It has a nice rubber sound blocking system on the bottom and sides of the sink. This is definitely a quality sink. You will not be disappointed.
