Beautiful sink. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it. I’ve only been using it for a couple days so who knows how I will feel once the honeymoon phase is over. Seems well constructed, hopefully it holds up over time.

As soon as I saw this sink, I knew I had to have it. I was hesitant to get it at first bc I wasn’t a fan of the silver piece in the middle. Now that I have the sink and it’s been installed, I actually don’t mind the silver piece.
This sink is beautiful and is so perfect! The quality and style is exceptional as well!
A+ Kraus!

We ordered the correct model # 433B and the correct model was shipped. However, it was the wrong size sink. The online listing incorrectly says it is a 30.75 in. but this model is actually a 33 in. When re-checking the website, apparently the wrong size is indicated for that model. If you order, be sure you don’t just look at the model number, look at the size of the sink. I think they just entered the size incorrectly when making the online listing. The sink is beautiful!

I was hesitant to place an order online without physically seeing the product, but I took the chance and I’m so glad I did. This sink is beautiful! I went to some of the local home improvement store before buying, and nothing they had looked as nice as this sink. And the deep bowls are so wonderful! It installed fairly easy. I would highly recommend to anyone of my family or friends.

I was very excited to find a double bowl, granite composite, black sink. It looks beautiful yet I overlooked quite a few specifications. The depth of this sink adds three inches for plumbing considerations. The sink drains that are included with this particular sink add another two. You will need to also consider the drains are not centered in the bowl and are offset toward the back of the bowl. If you are doing DIY updates and keeping the same plumbing footprint you will have heated debates with yourself and/or your partner. We had to forego the included sink drains and purchase different drains to accommodate our plumbing situation. Also, the picture on the site does not include the laser engraved logo along the stainless steel dividing the two bowls. I could have done without it. I do like the look of it but am especially mindful of placing glass and easily breakable items within the bowl because it is a granite composite hard surface vs a stainless steel sink.

We purchased this sink from Amazon about two months ago. We received it two days later but the right back corner was cracked and detached from the sink. I called Kraus directly on Wednesday morning and spoke to Tony. After emailing him photos of the damage along with a copy of my invoice he said he’d place the order for a replacement which he assured me would go out the same day. Later the same day I received an email with tracking information for the replacement sink. On Friday, just two days later I received a second broken sink. This time it was the left back corner. At this point we were concerned, thinking Kraus would lose patience and somehow make their problem our problem as many of today’s companies do.
I emailed Tony with pictures of the damage and followed up with a phone call sharing my observations regarding the packing and shipping. In both instances of receiving damaged product the packing materials had shifted in the box leaving the larger back of the sink where the faucet is installed vulnerable to the exact damage we were seeing. Tony assured me they would open the box and inspect the packaging before shipping a third sink. At this point we were losing faith but Tony was ‘All in’, understanding that we really had our sights set on having this sink. On the following Monday I received an email from Tony with tracking information and his assurance that the product was inspected prior to shipping. On Wednesday the third sink arrived. The packing tape across the top of the box had come Lioose and my hopes of receiving an acceptable product was diminishing. After opening the packaging I first noticed the sink was whole, no broken corners. I then got a shop light and started inspecting for minor cracks of which there were none. The third sink arrived in perfect condition!
Originally we planned to have the sink professionally installed but with the delay we now had scheduling conflicts with the installer so I decided to do the installation myself. While the clips that secure it to the underside of the countertop (this was installed as a top mount) were a bit tricky we did get at least one on all four sides. The installation, including our existing R.O.filter, a net Delta ‘Touch 2O faucet took about 3-4 hrs. We did get tripped up a bit as we had to get creative with the new placement of the drains but in hindsight, successful science projects are a lot of fun!
Bottom line….We love this sink!!!! In reading reviews we’ve noticed several people talk about ‘Hard Water’ spots and whiteness. Our water is by no means soft, by the same token, it’s not West Texas hard either. A good example of our water is, DO NOT wash your car in the heat os the day…. It will leave spots regardless of how quickly you work to wipe it dry. Having said that, after a month or so, we’ve found NO WATER SPOTS in the sink.
Bottom line 2.0…… Customer service…. Kraus earns TEN STARS! They absolutely earned our business and recommendations. So many companies today operate with an unfortunate motto of “We don’t care and it shows”. Not the case with Kraus. They absolutely care and will definitely earn your business given the chance! Their customer service is absolutely outstanding!!!

I HAVE NOW HAD THIS SINK FOR 2 YEARS + IT STILL LOOKS JUST LIKE IT DID WHEN I BOUGHT IT. IT HOLDS ITS DEEP BLACK COLOR + DOES NOT SCRATCH (WHICH WAS THE BIGGEST THING FOR ME). ITS SUPER DEEP. IVE HAD 4 DIFFERENT SINKS + THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE. IVE ALSO HAD IT IN AN UNDER MOUNT STAINLESS + THIS ONE IS WAY BETTER. SEVERAL PEOPLE GAVE BAD REVIEWS DUE TO IT BEING DAMAGED STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX , BUT MINE WAS NOT. IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY DOOR IN PERFECT CONDITION. I RECOMMEND THIS SINK TO EVERYONE. ALSO IF IT STARTS TO SEEM DULL FROM WATER ( IT EVENTUALLY WILL A LITTLE WHERE YOU LET WATER SIT ) JUST USE SOME BABY OIL ON A DISH TOWEL + IT WILL MAKE IT LOOK BRAND NEW AGAIN! I NORMALLY JUST DO IT WHENEVER IM DOING MY APPLIANCES. HOPE THIS HELPS!!

The quality of this sink is high end for an excellent price. I had to cut my sink cutout just a bit to accommodate the lock down tabs but once I had that done installation was a breeze. We matched ours with the KPF-2230ORB faucet and it exudes high end look all the way around. Sink looks like solid granite and has no blemishes at all. Love the added protective center and the touch of stainless really brings out the look of the sink. We are so pleased with it we can’t stay out of the kitchen.lol

We just had our new Krause 50/50 Double Bowl Granite Kitchen Sink installed yesterday. As we have a dishwasher yet to be installed, I’ve been using the sink for dishwashing. I appreciate the depth of the bowls which are deeper than our previous sink. I’m happy with it’s appearance and especially like the matte finish and the flattened edges. It’s design gives our kitchen a more modern look. Being made of granite, I’m sure this sink will service our needs for many years to come with less likelihood of scratching like our previous porcelain sink did.

The sink came as described with all necessary parts. This made for an easy and quick install.

Our sink is 2 years old and I bought mats for the bottom to protect it , today I noticed a large chip in my sink beneath the mat on a side of the sink that has a drain rack over top so I am very dismayed and confused how it could be chipped especially if one side is seldom even used . I won’t buy this type of material again as I feel it now looks cheap and I am afraid it will chip again . Since I don’t use anything heavy or Shap enough to chip the sink I feel like I have to treat it extra delicately and it’s become very inconvenient.

I bought this sink on line, as I needed one that was not as deep as most sinks. The 17” depth of this fit the bill. It looked like most other sinks on line. However, they entered its specs when I ordered my granite, and I was shocked when they installed this perported UNDERMOUNT sink yesterday, as the hole in my granite showed (revealed) two odd steps down on the back and front of the sink, but not the sides. Both the installers and I thought the hole had been cut too large, as this looked terrible. It turned out the fabricator for my granite “cut the hole in the granite to the manufacture’s specifications” for this sink. It seems Kraus “recommends” a reveal undermount (the edges show) whether you want it or not. THIS LOOKS TERRIBLE! It is the oddest design I’ve seen. This is the first new kitchen granite I’ve had, and at my age will be the last. I was so thrilled to get a modern, undermount, negative reveal sink in that granite!!! Nope, not with this Kraus sink. I AM VERY SAD AND HOPE YOU DON’T END UP THIS WAY, TOO. This sink CANNOT BE UNDERMOUNTED in the traditional use of that word. Look for something else to undermount.

Sink came with the house bought, and am very pleased with it. What it is missing is a bottom grid. Is there a bottom grid that fits this sink

Have had my beautiful new Krause Black Granite sink installed now for two week and love it! While, yes, it takes a little more attention to keeping it clean and dry after use, it hasn’t made me regret my purchase. The sink is big and deep. Exactly what I need to handle our Sunday family dinner weekly. Only one negative so far. After the first week, I noticed a smell. Wiped it down with a disinfecting wipe and smell gone and hasn’t returned since.
Thank you for a beautiful product!
P.S. love the towel you supplied. Comes in handy for those quick wipe downs.

I had been looking for sometime for the perfect sink and we found it! The reviews are right. It looks even better than the pictures. Beautiful sparkles, the drain is high class. The quality of everything so far has been more than we expected. Nice surprise! I haven’t used it much yet just installed it yesterday. It shipped so quickly I can’t believe it. Registration was a breeze. Definitely recommend. So happy with this sink.

I purchased this sink on my birthday! I received it 3 days later, very quick delivery. The sink was packaged very securely. It is beautiful and looks great with my new cabinets and granite counter top! This is exactly like the website picture….even better! The best part, it was a great price and look so expensive.

This sink is great looking and deep. We bought to go in our remodeled kitchen. It gives it an updated feel and blends well with our black counter tops and matte black faucet. Very pleased with our purchase. Only issue with installation is that the old sink and this one had different drain locations and most of the plumbing had to be replaced to accommodate for difference.

I love how this sink looks and performs. It replaced a white acrylic sink (never buy one of those) and it looks fabulous with my granite countertops. My only complaint is the stainless steel strip between the two bowls. I have hard water and it is already affecting the metal. Would have preferred it to just be black like the sink.

This model was not my first choice. When the one I originally ordered didn’t arrive on the delivery date. I was informed that it was backordered by a week. When that week passed, I received another notification that it would be back ordered for more than an additional month. I was not thrilled with the stainless steel saddle, because it would take two specialty cleaners and extra steps for maintenance. When this unit was left on my doorstep by UPS I was interested to see how well packaged it was, since I’d read a couple of reviews with complaints of the sink being broken in transit. Mine was packed in so much rigid cardboard and closed cell foam that the only thing that could have protected it better was to use a Pelican case instead of a cardboard box. The sink came out of the box perfectly and the install was easy. The holes that are partially cut for multi hole applications can be drilled out with carbide hole cutters, but you’ll need one for each hole. I switched to a roto zip with a 1/4″ diamond tile cutter and it zipped right through with no surface chipping but some dust. Once all the plumbing was in place, it beat stainless sink it replaced hands down. When perfectly leveled the sink guides everything to the drains leaving the bottom almost completely dry. The sink sounds as solid as the countertop. The stainless saddle is actually one of nice because I can balance a large stainless stock pot between it and the sink lip, instead of placing it in the basin to fill. So far I’m very impressed. That last Star will need to be earned with long term durability.

We chose Kraus’ 24 inch single bowl granite top mount kitchen sink because it added a unique beauty and functionality to our kitchen remodel. Not that there is anything wrong with a conventional double-bowl stainless steel sink, except that is has become conventional. You may want to consider this sink, in addition to its beauty, the smaller size gives you more counter space and it is quieter when running your garbage disposal! Win, Win, Win.

I was missing a drain but sent an email to Kraus and they sent me one out ASAP. thank you Kraus

We are very happy with the sink. It hides dirt and stains. It is the largest sink I think I have ever used. It seems to be very durable thus far. My favorite part is the strainer. You can do two days worth of dishes before having to empty the strainer. The water will always drain even with lots of food caught in the basket. Finally someone figured out a good design.

At this point in time I’m on my second sink and waiting on the third as they continue to show up cracked.
I read many reviews prior to purchase and this issue was noted many times but it’s a unique size and fit my needs perfectly so I went ahead with it.
I picked up the first one at the store. I opened it and inspected prior to leaving and sure enough there were the cracks. was very accommodating allowing me to take that sink and order another as I needed it for countertop template in two days.
The second one showed up at the house and again cracked in the exact same spots.
Again was helpful, took that one back, gave me credit and ordered a third which should be delivered any day. Fingers crossed as the quartz countertops are in and cut for “that ” sink.
I’m VERY hopeful the third will be good as I do like the sink and have been using the first and have been happy with the exception of the cracks.
I would have to agree with other reviewers on that I believe the cracking is happening before they leave production since they’re cracked in the exact saame place and the packaging show absolutely no sign of abuse and the sinks are we’ll packed.
I must also mention that Kraus was accommodating also allowing me to install the original and use it until I receive a good one otherwise I’d have no kitchen sink.

I have already purchased 2 of these sinks, they have both arrived cracked. The crappy part is that we have our granite counter top was cut specifically to under mount this sink so if we ever do get a sink to arrive that ins’t cracked they have to install it under the counter top and so when it does finally break again there will be no way to replace the sink without taking up the granite counter top which the installers have informed me that they don’t do because it breaks the counter top, so essentially by picking this sink we have been totally screwed and will probably be out thousands of dollars.

This the 2nd Kraus sink we I have purchased and it is a beautiful product and fairly priced. My wife loves it.
The sink was packaged & protected extremely well, the top mounting installation was impacted slightly by the mounting brackets design. They failed to bottom out properly on the counter. After breaking a mounting point off the sink, I had to cut shims which resolved the space limitations of the brackets.
As the Head of Corporate Purchasing and Engineering Documentation Control for a major international company, I am familiar with all forms of engineering. There is an opportunity here for product improvement and ease of installation. Thank you.

My husband and I just purchased our first home. We decided to go through with a complete remodel of the kitchen and make it fully our taste instead of buying the same cookie cutter kitchens. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and aside from appliances needing to be high end and high quality, I wanted a sink that would hold up to its name for durable.
I had this sink in mind after looking online for MONTHS. I searched every store, touched so many different sinks and materials and yet somehow, I still wanted this particular sink.
A lot of reviews claimed it was shipped and delivered broken – which makes sense it could happen. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the worksmanship and quality of this sink. It’s GORGEOUS!!! I am extremely happy with my sink everyone who asks about sinks and sink types, I’ll defintely recommend this one!

We ordered this sink on August 13 because we loved the look, the price was reasonable, and we liked that it was made out of granite (composite granite). There were no reviews at the time we ordered online. The day we went to pick the sink up at our local , we pulled our order up on our phone to see what all we needed to purchase to install the sink. It was then that we spotted the review of this very sink that was posted two days after we had ordered our sink. Seeing that it had been ordered four times for this customer, and came in all four times with the corners cracked, we asked that we could open urs before we took it home. Sure enough, ours was cracked in three of the four corners. The cracks almost look like they might have appeared during the curing process of making this sink.
