Our sink is 2 years old and I bought mats for the bottom to protect it , today I noticed a large chip in my sink beneath the mat on a side of the sink that has a drain rack over top so I am very dismayed and confused how it could be chipped especially if one side is seldom even used . I won’t buy this type of material again as I feel it now looks cheap and I am afraid it will chip again . Since I don’t use anything heavy or Shap enough to chip the sink I feel like I have to treat it extra delicately and it’s become very inconvenient.

We purchased this sink from Amazon about two months ago. We received it two days later but the right back corner was cracked and detached from the sink. I called Kraus directly on Wednesday morning and spoke to Tony. After emailing him photos of the damage along with a copy of my invoice he said he’d place the order for a replacement which he assured me would go out the same day. Later the same day I received an email with tracking information for the replacement sink. On Friday, just two days later I received a second broken sink. This time it was the left back corner. At this point we were concerned, thinking Kraus would lose patience and somehow make their problem our problem as many of today’s companies do.
I emailed Tony with pictures of the damage and followed up with a phone call sharing my observations regarding the packing and shipping. In both instances of receiving damaged product the packing materials had shifted in the box leaving the larger back of the sink where the faucet is installed vulnerable to the exact damage we were seeing. Tony assured me they would open the box and inspect the packaging before shipping a third sink. At this point we were losing faith but Tony was ‘All in’, understanding that we really had our sights set on having this sink. On the following Monday I received an email from Tony with tracking information and his assurance that the product was inspected prior to shipping. On Wednesday the third sink arrived. The packing tape across the top of the box had come Lioose and my hopes of receiving an acceptable product was diminishing. After opening the packaging I first noticed the sink was whole, no broken corners. I then got a shop light and started inspecting for minor cracks of which there were none. The third sink arrived in perfect condition!
Originally we planned to have the sink professionally installed but with the delay we now had scheduling conflicts with the installer so I decided to do the installation myself. While the clips that secure it to the underside of the countertop (this was installed as a top mount) were a bit tricky we did get at least one on all four sides. The installation, including our existing R.O.filter, a net Delta ‘Touch 2O faucet took about 3-4 hrs. We did get tripped up a bit as we had to get creative with the new placement of the drains but in hindsight, successful science projects are a lot of fun!
Bottom line….We love this sink!!!! In reading reviews we’ve noticed several people talk about ‘Hard Water’ spots and whiteness. Our water is by no means soft, by the same token, it’s not West Texas hard either. A good example of our water is, DO NOT wash your car in the heat os the day…. It will leave spots regardless of how quickly you work to wipe it dry. Having said that, after a month or so, we’ve found NO WATER SPOTS in the sink.
Bottom line 2.0…… Customer service…. Kraus earns TEN STARS! They absolutely earned our business and recommendations. So many companies today operate with an unfortunate motto of “We don’t care and it shows”. Not the case with Kraus. They absolutely care and will definitely earn your business given the chance! Their customer service is absolutely outstanding!!!

The sink was beautiful, but arrived damaged- twice. I purchased this sink and had it delivered to my home. The sink arrived damaged- the front corner was broken off. Packaging was completely intact. Returned the item and bought a new one- again having it delivered to my home. The second sink also arrived damaged- this time it was a crack in the back left portion of the sink. Again, the packaging was completely intact. Both issues seemed to be a flaw from the factory- not because of an issue with delivery or rough handling. I was extremely disappointed, because the sink looked beautiful and was exactly what I was looking for. I returned the second sink, and chose a completely different sink to complete my project.

My husband and I just purchased our first home. We decided to go through with a complete remodel of the kitchen and make it fully our taste instead of buying the same cookie cutter kitchens. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and aside from appliances needing to be high end and high quality, I wanted a sink that would hold up to its name for durable.
I had this sink in mind after looking online for MONTHS. I searched every store, touched so many different sinks and materials and yet somehow, I still wanted this particular sink.
A lot of reviews claimed it was shipped and delivered broken – which makes sense it could happen. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the worksmanship and quality of this sink. It’s GORGEOUS!!! I am extremely happy with my sink everyone who asks about sinks and sink types, I’ll defintely recommend this one!

The sink in Grey looks great. We did a negative undermount with Azurite granite that has a large amount of greys and blues, and they go fantastic together.
The fabricator had no issues drilling the 4 holes needed.
The one negative is there appears to be no sink grates at all that match the shape of this sink, and Kraus does not make any either as far as I can tell.

As soon as I saw this sink, I knew I had to have it. I was hesitant to get it at first bc I wasn’t a fan of the silver piece in the middle. Now that I have the sink and it’s been installed, I actually don’t mind the silver piece.
This sink is beautiful and is so perfect! The quality and style is exceptional as well!
A+ Kraus!

I bought this sink on line, as I needed one that was not as deep as most sinks. The 17” depth of this fit the bill. It looked like most other sinks on line. However, they entered its specs when I ordered my granite, and I was shocked when they installed this perported UNDERMOUNT sink yesterday, as the hole in my granite showed (revealed) two odd steps down on the back and front of the sink, but not the sides. Both the installers and I thought the hole had been cut too large, as this looked terrible. It turned out the fabricator for my granite “cut the hole in the granite to the manufacture’s specifications” for this sink. It seems Kraus “recommends” a reveal undermount (the edges show) whether you want it or not. THIS LOOKS TERRIBLE! It is the oddest design I’ve seen. This is the first new kitchen granite I’ve had, and at my age will be the last. I was so thrilled to get a modern, undermount, negative reveal sink in that granite!!! Nope, not with this Kraus sink. I AM VERY SAD AND HOPE YOU DON’T END UP THIS WAY, TOO. This sink CANNOT BE UNDERMOUNTED in the traditional use of that word. Look for something else to undermount.

The sink is cracked and damaged in the box very cheap. I would not reconnect this product

I have already purchased 2 of these sinks, they have both arrived cracked. The crappy part is that we have our granite counter top was cut specifically to under mount this sink so if we ever do get a sink to arrive that ins’t cracked they have to install it under the counter top and so when it does finally break again there will be no way to replace the sink without taking up the granite counter top which the installers have informed me that they don’t do because it breaks the counter top, so essentially by picking this sink we have been totally screwed and will probably be out thousands of dollars.

I love, love, love this sink!

A well-designed sink and we are very pleased with it. Online only, I could not find any retail outlet that displayed these sinks. Even phoned Kraus directly. Wanted to see the color and finish before purchase.

Sink came with the house bought, and am very pleased with it. What it is missing is a bottom grid. Is there a bottom grid that fits this sink

I was very excited to find a double bowl, granite composite, black sink. It looks beautiful yet I overlooked quite a few specifications. The depth of this sink adds three inches for plumbing considerations. The sink drains that are included with this particular sink add another two. You will need to also consider the drains are not centered in the bowl and are offset toward the back of the bowl. If you are doing DIY updates and keeping the same plumbing footprint you will have heated debates with yourself and/or your partner. We had to forego the included sink drains and purchase different drains to accommodate our plumbing situation. Also, the picture on the site does not include the laser engraved logo along the stainless steel dividing the two bowls. I could have done without it. I do like the look of it but am especially mindful of placing glass and easily breakable items within the bowl because it is a granite composite hard surface vs a stainless steel sink.

This model was not my first choice. When the one I originally ordered didn’t arrive on the delivery date. I was informed that it was backordered by a week. When that week passed, I received another notification that it would be back ordered for more than an additional month. I was not thrilled with the stainless steel saddle, because it would take two specialty cleaners and extra steps for maintenance. When this unit was left on my doorstep by UPS I was interested to see how well packaged it was, since I’d read a couple of reviews with complaints of the sink being broken in transit. Mine was packed in so much rigid cardboard and closed cell foam that the only thing that could have protected it better was to use a Pelican case instead of a cardboard box. The sink came out of the box perfectly and the install was easy. The holes that are partially cut for multi hole applications can be drilled out with carbide hole cutters, but you’ll need one for each hole. I switched to a roto zip with a 1/4″ diamond tile cutter and it zipped right through with no surface chipping but some dust. Once all the plumbing was in place, it beat stainless sink it replaced hands down. When perfectly leveled the sink guides everything to the drains leaving the bottom almost completely dry. The sink sounds as solid as the countertop. The stainless saddle is actually one of nice because I can balance a large stainless stock pot between it and the sink lip, instead of placing it in the basin to fill. So far I’m very impressed. That last Star will need to be earned with long term durability.
