Quality Lodge cast iron at an unbeatable price, ready to use right out of the box, preseasoned. Good weight and balance but not too heavy or unmanageable. Its a great starter piece or gift for anyone interested in getting in to cast iron cookware.

just like the one your granddad used! grease it up and cook anything. will last forever and it’s always ready to go. scrape it off with your spatula and wipe it out and it’s ready for next use. great in the oven too!

wasn’t the first place I thought of to find a cast iron skillet, but Lodge is the brand I wanted and they had it at a good price. I took advice from other reviews and cleaned/scrubbed the skillet, then seasoned it myself before using. After each use, I scrub the skillet, pat it dry, add a thin layer of vegetable oil, wipe it off, and I’m good to go for next time. It’s great for bigger recipes that my smaller skillet can’t handle. Only thing I would note is a previous review indicated the skillet came with a helper handle. That was not the case, but not a big deal to me.

Saw my package being delivered by my ring doorbell. Found it strange that a cast iron pan can fit into such a tiny box. I open it, and it’s griddle spray. I don’t even own a griddle Filing a report with the AG office
