This heavy cast iron oven makes us about 4 loaves of sourdough bread each week. It is low maintenance and provides great results. We haven’t used it yet, but look forward to using the lid as a skillet

My husband bought this Dutch oven for me for Christmas. I particularly like the lid/skillet feature because it is easier to store in a limited space. Nice not to have to season the pieces, as well.
I’ve used the Dutch oven to make an Indian curry and the lid/skillet to make an oven potato gratin. The Indian curry simmered nicely without sticking and the potato dish baked without sticking.

Love that this does not have legs, so oven use is a breeze! you can also use the lid for a shallow cooking pan!

The item has a broken handle on arrival. I have to return it. I don’t know how good it is because I do not use it yet.
