I had ordered two sets of Initiative Champagne cookware by mistake and had to return one, which was “no-hassle” at . This T-fal set, compared to some other sellers’ models, states it is free of PFOA, PTFE and Cadmium, and not just PFOA and PTFE. When used as directed, the product cooks and cleans nicely, saving electricity and water. I left baked beans in a saucepan after dinner and my new dishwashing detergent proved less effective so I chose to lightly use a nylon-bristled scrubber on the interior. Luckily, no scratch marks. The short and simple use and care guide, is available on line prior to purchase. It’s also included in the box (or now recycled) for appropriate cooking and cleaning methods. T-fal seems to want customers to be completely satisfied with this ceramic set’s cooking potential, safety, cleaning, and integrity. As a former kitchen supervisor, I learned a few things from reading the guide, since I didn’t have experience with ceramic cookware. This product is sturdy with a little weight to it, yet light enough to not impact my wrist and forearm issue. If only this cookware is being used for meal preparation, I would highly recommend its daily service for 1-2 adults and a young child. More people, of course, if microwave or toaster ovens, griddlers, …. are being used. All in all, this seems to be a great, economical, environmentally responsible, and attractive purchase that I would expect to last with proper use and care.

There isn’t much to dislike about this cookware set. It’s perfect for “low-key” cooking, and they look good while I’m using them (they’re still brand new, so there’s that). I realize that the T-Fal name isn’t the same as it was twenty years ago, but because I’m over trying to impress people, I think and hope that this set will last a while.

The T-Fal set is great! I bought this set for my son that just purchased a house and they loved them. They are very nice a sturdy and non-stick!. We have a set that still looks brand new and they are 10 years old!
